[1.2 beta] BATTLETECH - Cannot login to Paradox account

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I checked my password, and even talked to tech support. I can log in just fine with the non-beta, but when I use open beta, it rejects my credentials.

Did this change with the formal release of 1.2 at all?

I didn't try the beta, but I'm unable to log in now that 1.2 is live. I've already opened a support ticket, but not sure what else I can do.

Please try changing your passwords to all standard latin alphanumeric characters, see if that helps please.

Yeah, I had gotten a reply from support asking me to switch to a password that uses only letters, and doing so lets me log into the game.

I wouldn't precisely call the issue "resolved", but it's a serviceable workaround until whatever problem it is with the password field gets fixed. I just hope there's some kind of notice when it does so I know I can use a more secure password again.
