Overall I like the additions. Here are some points of feedback:

Bugs:
  • Build Dauros temple quest prize is Paladins of Death - not Paladins of Dauros
  • Still can't buff Helios units
  • Getting a few CTDs in the late game. Not bad and can't trigger
  • Animation of Sea Serpents is Reeeeeeeaaaaaalllllllyyyyyy long.
  • Don't allow buildings if chain of predecessors is broken (don't allow Mint to be built if you have a Tax Office but don't have a Market).
  • Similarly, don't allow units to be built if chain of buildings is broken.

Balance:
  • Lords are a little OP but I like the addition of them with the game
  • Like the tweaks to Harbours etc.

Suggestions:
  • Need some sort of city governor for the late game (This is really important!)
  • When building, shade back the hexes that can't be built on.
  • More keyboard shortcuts. Need guard, sleep, heal-sleep etc.
  • Need to be able to right-click the building list to see more details.
  • Have a way to show movement limits on terrain when unit is selected.
  • Need more options at start-up (don't play with Heroes; don't play with Temples etc).

The Temple of Dauros can be used to build Paladins of Death (if built in an Undead City). Similarly, the build Temple of Agrela quest can reward Paladins of Life or the Priestess of Agrela. The Paladins of Death are Temple units for Dauros. Why do you consider it a bug?

The inability to buff Helia's units is consistent with the game spell of the same name. While annoying from a gameplay perspective, I'm also unsure its a bug per se. Why do you think it is a bug and not working as intended?

Agree that the Sea Serpent animation is really long (specially if there are 4 attacking a unit) and that more keyboard shortcuts would improve the game.

One bug and two wishlist items...

Twice I've gotten "Capture the city of the Great Mage" quests where the side selected was "Neutrals" or "Monsters" -- so there was no city named and, as far as I could tell, the quest couldn't be completed. A bit annoying as it had a failure penalty (not catastrophic, though).

Wishlist items:
* I'll join those crying for keyboard shortcuts. Really, "Defend," "Heal," "Sentry," and "go to the next notification item on the right-hand side of the screen" would pretty much fill my needs.
* Being able to bring up lists of cities/units (to see where the city with building X was, or find the highest-level unit of a given type to promote) would be helpful in the late game.

Really pleased with the patch. The AI keeps me a bit more on my toes now.

This also happened to me, nice reward if you could complete it: Olden Ghost. Penalty - 230 Gold.

That's for Guard, which isn't the same thing - you don't get the defend bonus.

Another bug: On a certain map position the game stopped displaying my borders. Everywhere else on the map works fine, but when i scroll over a certain area (NOT the minimap border as you may think at first) only the enemy mages' borders are drawn, not mine. Started to happen in lategame, just as the unsolvable quest bug.

I agree, especially the Legendary Lord, they are too powerful, one of them is equal to 2 or maybe even 3 gold dragon, the thing is, they cost the same, 2000 gold, they should cost 4000 or 6000 gold.

You need to kill a monster race great mage, i mean his default starting race, e.g: ashar the wise, tendral son of vendral

It's not capture city quest, but kill a great mage, i mean defeat that player/AI.

However the bug is, when that player is already defeated, and you get the same quest again, you'll still get its reward instantly on the next turn after you get the quest, which mean free Famous Tier Lord.

One bug thusfar into my first game with the 1.2 patch. In diplomacy (everyones favorite, I know), if a great mage wants to deal X gold for Y mana and I decline the offer, but I counter offer with Z gold for Y mana where Z is greater than X, the accepted deal becomes X gold for Y mana. This occurs even a few turns later. The AI either need to take my deal or decline it, not accept their deal I've declined. I hope that makes sense.

One Improvement. Give us a city summary screen. A simple table style with city names, production values of food, gold, and mana, enchantments, curses, and what they are building with time to complete for both buildings and troops. I would also love to be able to cast city enchantments from this screen and dispell bad ones too. Like other games, being able to sort by field would be a plus as well.

Other than that this game has been a lot of fun to play and the expansions are fantastic. Keep up the Great work!!

I see that diplomacy exploit is fixed.

There is still that bugged logic in game, when AI is willing to give all gold or mana for treaty, but now that is not guaranteed.

What I mean that before they would always accept such deal, with "neutral response", while now, such deals are branded as "fair" (but in practice AI will not accept them), while deals that make more sense (like getting very small amount of mana or gold) are branded as deals that are very generous to AI, and those deals AI always accepts.

So anyway, flawed logic is still there (game telling that all AI gold or mana is acceptable for a treaty), but in practice AI will not accept those deals.

Another bug still there:
quests to build harbor when u have already harbor ...

Since you get a 50% increase to gold income in a city w/ a harbor there is a good reason to repeat build these buildings in many cities. As well as having the ability to build ships in more than one place.

Therefore Id say its WAD and not a bug.

There is a new announcement that you have got a new spell. You can't right click it to dismiss it without reading, you can't turn it off, and while it gives more than the basic information it doesn't give all the details - it needs to give the full details such as maintenance cost.

Just some random thoughts on 1.2 (which I enjoy).

The AI's diplomacy seems more reasonable. As in, they're not psychotically trying to attack you almost as soon as you meet them. It's kind of neat to ally with an AI to take down others. But... I think the game was harder when they tried to kill you almost immediately.

The new 'super-spawning' thing is interesting and is a neat concept. But it seems to punish the AI more than the player, since a player is more likely to be able to quickly deal with the spawn, and then the player gets the reward of the spawn (which can be substantial). Also, the random spawning happens in the alternate worlds too, which is kind of... lame? As in, I just cleared a world of elementals and dragons, so a bunch of serpent nests is going to just be free money, basically. You could even make the case that it might be better to clear an alternate world, build a handful of cities, and then farm the random spawns when they show up.

Suggestion: I've pondered on this a bit, but I think it would be cool if you could move your capital to a different plane/world after you conquer it. Maybe an upgrade you could build on dragon eggs, or something. While this would be kind of useless in single player, I can imagine it being pretty cool for multiplayer.

The AI is dispelling outside of its area of view. As a tactic, this really is just more annoying, and doesn't help the AI all the much and mostly just frustrates the players as his or her hero keeps getting stripped of buffs while exploring other planes.

The ai builds tons of ships and really doesnt use them. It also has an unrequited love for rogue type units and ghost wolves. It really needs to focus more on the basics of warriors with archer support.

I kept seeing 2 AI's fight over my borders and one was really stupid...One AI is moving units but not attacking even when in range or if there are 3 mages in range of the same enemy unit they wont all attack it. Then the stupid AI was constantly embarking his units in water even though the other AI was having whole flotilla of ships around. Seeing that kind of combat just made me want to scream.

I have no idea what are you saying here. Kill monster race great mage? I still dont know what needs to be done.

Edit:
1. I received the quest kill great mage(no specification which one), i killed Ana (Conquered the capital). After the timer the quest failed.
2. I also received quest to build temple to Dauros, build the temple. When the quest timer expired it failed even though the temple was completed earlier.
