When a game unit is composed from multiple equipment types, it seems the hardness value of individual types of equipment is added together (instead of say, averaged out) In addition there's no cap on the hardness value, which can lead to questionable results:

doesn't really make much sense for the unit to take more than 100% of damage dealt. Additionally while I haven't checked, the tooltip suggests soft attack may heal the attacked units instead of damage it? :x
(this won't show in vanilla game but outside of it, well. kinda limits the ability to have units mixing different types of equipment)
