Equipment owned by a recon company seems to have lower reliability than one would expect.

I ran a test wherein I subjected tank battalions with attached recon companies to training attrition (5.4% due to a doctrine in the soviet tree) for a year. I had 300 support equipment in the field, and 1200 infantry equipment (That's 30 recon companies total). I made sure I had ample stockpiles of both (1748 and 30728) and that all production was stopped, and that all regiments were fully outfitted when I started. After a year I had lost 746 support equipment and 782 infantry equipment. Using the wiki attrition formula, which I had tested earlier with a pure infantry battalion with no support companies and appears to be accurate, I calculated reliability using the following method:

rel = 782/365(days)/1200(eq in field)/0.0054(1/10 of attrition)

and got about 67% reliability for infantry equipment that should have 90% (and did when tested with pure infantry battalions). The losses for support equipment seem to point to about -25% reliability.
