[1.2.0][bb23] backspace/delete don't work in the wiki

Backspace, delete, the return key and the arrow keys don't work for me in the in-game wiki.

So whenever I make a typo in the search bar or the wiki text I can't just use backspace to fix my mistake, but have to use my mouse to mark the character(s) and type my correction. Quite cumbersome.

No DLC/Mods were activated. Note that I'm using Ubuntu 16.04.

I have the same problem. When using the in game wiki I can't use neither the forward nor the backwards arrow. I can't use enter, but need to either click the looking glass or the suggestion to get it to search. If I make a typo I can't in any way fix it. Neither with backspace nor with placing the cursor just before the wrong letter (by mouse, since that is the only way to move the cursor) and pressing delete. Nothing works. The home and end buttons don't work either.
So if I make a typo I will have to search for the typo and then write in the right search afterwards.

I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 too.

Thanks for your feedback. It seems you are experiencing exactly the same problems.

Since most people don't seem to have this problem I fear it's specific to Ubuntu 16.04 or even GNU/Linux in general.

edit: Apparently it's not a GNU/Linux-only problem, see down below...

If so then it'll probably never be fixed. Just like how tabbing out of CKII for years has meant you need to reboot to stop the many glitches tabbing out results in.

When I asked Meneth in another thread about it I got this answer:

So at least the devs are aware of this issue by now.

Personally I always assumed that this is a GNU/Linux-only problem. So I was rather surprised when I read your comment, bitmode.

I then asked @LGSCARLETT (who also uses Windows) if the has that problem too. Indeed he could confirm it.

So unless the macOS users don't have this problem, it's a general one that doesn't depend on the operating system.

This bug is still present in 1.13.5. I encountered it using Ubuntu 22.04.
