20 years into the game, I can't even count the number of times the AI has declared suicidal wars.
Venice vs Austria 1v1, lost.
Ottos solo vs Hungary, Austria, Papal, lost badly.
Muscovy solo vs Poland Lithuania, lost and got wrecked..
Provence (!) solo vs Brittany, Burgundy, minors, lost.
Burgundy vs Austria, France, minors, lost badly.
I'm not even paying that much attention to continental politics, sitting back in Ireland. But all of these DOWs were not the 'thought-we-could-do-it-but-failed' kind, they were blatantly ignoring the power balance. Like 25k vs 40k from day one kind of unwinnable wars (at least for the AI).
Anybody else notice this?
