no, but i assume he was playing with a custom nation and stacking bonuses. if you queued up like 30 ships you could culture convert london for like 20 diplo if your custom nation had -cultureConversionCost

How would queuing ships in any way affect culture conversion cost?

You do but the emperor has to ask you to return it to get the CB.

Ah; I misread it then. I thought he couldn't ask for it to be returned either. Do you then get imperial liberation if he asks for it to be returned and the request is shot down?

Is there a reason for the change to this? It's now nearly impossible to keep the HRE broken up into as many princes as possible, as the Demand Unlawful Territory button will instill a truce if you use it to pop out an OPM, and the relation hit means they won't comply with a second request. Also, this means that vassalizing within the HRE gives countries a nearly unstoppable way of gobbling up other princes.


Unrelated, but since 1.15 Kongo has had it's vision screwed up, and is still bad in 1.15.1. It again lost its vision of its own trade node and the countries just to its north, but it for some reason has vision on the entire Arabian peninsula. And after 20 years, the only discovery spread it received was for the Egypt region.

Now can we get something that fixes the Piracy and Alliance issue?
I just had a BB game where i allied Russia, to help against Commonwealth, and he decided to go Pirating in the Lubec Trade Node. The way I found out is by gettng a message saying my nation broke it's alliance with Russia cuz they were stealing my money. Why would they take money from an ally that they love? We had those nice green hearts and everything. Now they still love me, while my people think of them as drunk smelly Bears.....

But the problem with this is that if they annex anything larger than an OPM you are likely to get them to return one province but the truce then prevents you from forcing them to return the others.

That is true, but it's not as if you can't find a way to get into a war with pretty much any HRE state if you want by DoWing their allies under some pretext.
