1.14 Hotfix Appears to have broken my ironman save

After hotfix, I reloaded my Burgundy game. After a while I wanted to check achievements and it said "This game is meant to played as Japan". Then I exited to main menu, noticed there is still ironman icon in my save game however, "PLAY" button states "Save game belongs to another user or edited", I've loaded it and achievement window now also stated "Save game belongs to another user or edited". I was 150 years into this game, please respond if this is a UI issue or ironman is infact gone.

Right now, busted.

I would recommend holding on to the save, there is (some) hope we may be able to find a way to let you recover your save from that particular issue.

Sucks to put in loads of hours into a game just to find it broken :'-( . Now my Ethiopia will never get to see Constantinople and i was just next to the province...

I hope its possible. My horribly rekt Europe was waiting for me to conquer it , 1580s and France is already gone and Scotland is probably going to form Great Britain eventually. I did even do anything because I'm in the New world

We're looking into updating the hotfix in such a way that should be able to recover busted ironman saves, if you avoid continuing them until then.

Damn, was 10+ hours into the new Burgundy achieve, wrecked Nice speedy fix though, hope it will be possible to fix the broken saves too eventually.

Can confirm that saves that haven't been affected so far work. I loaded, pressed Nation forming decision and got the relevant achievement. All my alliances were immediately cancelled, though. Had to really everyone after nation formation.

Must say, was a bit suprised when I saw that my austria game was supposed to be played as Qing.

I didnt notice this on my Iron man Sweden game a couple of days ago and i did the Lion from north Achievement, however when i didnt get it i knew something was wrong saw the achievement button being grey and the the text of doom and now with the hotfix patch notes iknow that i got screwed out of my achievement

probably not because of the latest hotfix, but because you played it with the hotfix before, it got invalidated then, and will now tell you ''it belongs to another player or is being edited''. That message basically just means it was invalidated at some point. And that is most likely caused by the AI having taken a nation forming decision.

Thank you very much for the reply . So i should wait for upcoming hotfixes and stay away from this save in the hopes that it might be resolved or is there no hope ?

So the hotfix did not undergo any QA and thereby ruined a large number of saves? hoe buggy was The Cossacks conpared with other DLCs at release? Buggier? The buggiest? Less buggy?
