1.111 Can't click on counties.

Hello

I seem to have a problem where after a few of minutes of playing CK2, I can't click on counties and sometimes, even select my own armies. The only way to access provinces or armies is via the ledger. This bug happen in SP and MP. I tried totally wiping CK2 and installing it fresh but sadly this has not fixed the problem.

I am running CK2 on Windows 7.

Has this always happened since you first installed the game, or only since some change or update?

Does it happen every time you play? With every game/save game you have?

please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the "Sound devices" section for brevity), settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload). Also open setup.log, search for "checksum", and paste that line only in here.

Thanks. I can't say when exactly It happened but I remember it being a couple of patches after The Old Gods. It also happens with every save I've had (Multi and Single) for a couple of months now.

I have the same problem on linux, clicking on counties and armies have become a hit and miss thing. Some counties I am completely unable to click on, others misbehave most of the time. To select a group of armies I now have to first select one of them, and only then does the 'group' selection seem to work.

Does this only happen after alt-tabbing out of the game? If so that's a known issue with the Linux version.

I really can't see any problem in there, everything is up to date and looks OK.

When you did your reinstall, did you manually delete all CK2 files and folders from under both the Steam and Documents areas before reinstalling?

Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU) 1/ before starting the game up and 2/ after say 20 minutes' play. If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install GPU-Zand CPU-Z, or SPEEDFAN.
