Hi all

Did they change aggressive expansion? In my custome nation game i started yesterday i fought of a challanging coalition and afterwards my AE with all truced counties was gone. Only the ones that dont where in the coalition war have big AE left. is this new or did that happen some time ago?

Another update to the 1.11 patch with more fixes. This will be the last hotfix for 1.11 unless new major issues are discovered.

Furthermore, Tunis must be destroyed (and kill_leader must be fixed) ;).

kill_leader effect doesn't work, Wiz! :(

The country scope effect kill_leader with a specific leader name, such as "Wallenstein", doesn't work. Was discovered in my mod making extensive use of the kill_leader = "Specific Name"...

Hence, neither tyw_events.16 nor tyw_events.17 nor flavor_vij.14 (kill_leader = "Chellappa Nayaka") work appropriately in vanilla.

So the kill_leader = "any name here" seems broken. In 1.9.2, it worked fine btw.

The government tooltip says 7 and the event says 8, but the actual cost is 7.5 (10/4*3). You may want to report a bug if there isn't one, since this could apply to other republic types too.

Not sure if this is a recent issue or if it's always been like that.

I notice an issue around aggresive expansion while playing as Castille. The Iberian Wedding fired around 1460 and since then I feeded about half of the provinces that I conquered from France to Aragon.
Now it's 1510 and while I have around 50 ae with most of the European countries, I have more the 200 ae with Aragon (and France ofc). This is WAD (and I'm missing something) or a bug?

So... Is there enough "material" for a 1.11.4 hotfix, or should we stop hoping? (I'd really like to have that broken kill_leader = "name" fixed... :) )

Unfortunately they stated that the next patch will no longer be a hotfic but 1.12 update. Whether it'll be a DLC and we're gonna have to wait 2-3 months or it's coming in a few weeks I don't know.

When and where did they state that? (Aside from OP by Wiz.)

Don't actually care whether it's called patch or hotfix: I'm interested in the timing of the release.

Because as you say: It could be a few days away, or a couple of weeks, or two months, that would be good to know and makes quite a difference.

I apologize if this has been addressed but caravan power seems to be completely absent from my game. I cannot get any inland steering bonus under any circumstance. Merchants only provide the usual 2 trade power no matter what I do. No AI nation gets inland steering bonuses either. Has this been reported aready?

May sound stupid but are you sure you have WoN and it is active?

Yeah. The mechanics for steering towards inland and merchant inland bonus were WoN only and patch replaced those with caravan power but it remains a expansion feature.

Yep, same thing as trade companies(last I checked anyway) show up in certain places for people without WoN but you don't get any explanation of why the button is grayed out.

The biggest game breaking bug is AI declaring suicidal wars.

That's gotta be fixed.
Not really Game breaking.. A bug yes but game breaking not really. Yeah its annoying to see them Declare Suicidal wars.. Makes little sense for them to do it. But it also makes things interesting and easier for you in my opinion anyway. I mean i suppose its game breaking in a sense their is no challenge..But how often do AI declare Suicidal wars ?

Not really Game breaking.. A bug yes but game breaking not really.
While it's not technically game breaking it does effectively break alliance mechanics (by making them completely unreliable and often counter-productive) which is a huge thing in a game where they form a large chunk of the gameplay/strategy.
