You gathered these changes yourself by comparing the event files between the two versions? Thanks for the work!

Makes backup of 1.11.2 before 1.11.3 in case nudge gets broken again as seems to happen randomly with every other hotfix patch...... maybe its something with steam ..... but as I like to constantly mod the map it is a big deal to me.

Although I do appreciate Paradox fixing bugs.

EDIT: first try nudge froze game. Second try after full reboot nudge worked. Worked every time before 1.10.

I can not find the file that made this change. Where was the change made? I am wondering what I forgot to update in my mod.
I'm guessing it's something hardcoded. There were quite a number of hardcoded stuff in this DLC.

Another update to the 1.11 patch with more fixes. This will be the last hotfix for 1.11 unless new major issues are discovered.

There is probably a major issue. Please see the links below. It's first reported 3 days before the hotfix and no one cared.

Wait, I totally missed the "last hotfix" comment.

So those poor cultures are just going to be left with broken dynasty names then for the time being? :-(

The AI coalition mentioned above is still problematic. I shouldn't have 3 coalitions declare a war on me in a span of 5 years. I'm not even weak, but the AI doesn't seem to mind sending its soldiers to the slaughter. Regardless, it breaks diplomacy and should be fixed sooner than 1.12.

Also, the Prestige is still wonky as hell. A 4 years war with France during which I win most of my battles, and I end up with less prestige than what I started with. That's just completely bonkers. Victories where 10k+ soldiers on both sides die give less than half a point of prestige. That can't possibly be WAD. Basically, the best way to stack Prestige now is to choose +prestige events, colonize and stack +yearly prestige. It's ridiculous. I agree prestige was way too easy to come by pre 1.11, but it's been over nerfed hard.

In my opinion it is a really good thing they nerf prestige, it was way too easy to just sit in 100 the whole game and it give value to +prestige ideas and modifiers.
I only hope they nerf prestige from colonialism it is ridiculously high. Make someone with 100 prestige actually prestigious instead of default.

As I said in my last sentence, the nerf to prestige gain was warranted, but right now it's completely unbalanced as far as battles go. The fact that decisively winning a war against a great power isn't even enough to compensate the yearly prestige loss is just absurd.

Getting different results than the peace deal says is even more absurd, and so is the fact that the AI, once occupied, still refuses to convert religion until you reload (but reloading still crashes the game if you've been playing a while).

Prestige from battles got crapped on pretty hard, which I guess makes the bonuses to it more meaningful. That has some reasonable design basis, because previously it shot up like a cannon such that consistent war = 100 prestige. Maybe they should boost the 1-time gain at the end of the war depending on the power status of the opponent though. IE "you take 100% war score off a great power, you get a boatload of prestige", whereas you don't get much from battles or annexing OPMs.

There still isn't an automatic exploration mission that simulates Columbus' First Voyage. The closest I've come is to explore the waters of Sevilla which gets me to about the middle of the Atlantic, and then make a second exploration of to discover the Chesapeake Bay (which revealed the eastern seabord of the US from North Carolina to Massachusetts. This is a bit better than just discovering the mouth of the St. Lawrence, but doesn't reveal the Bahamas or the Dominican Republic, which means you can't possibly put Spain's first American colony in the right place.

What we need is a "discover Chipangu" exploration mission which crosses the Atlantic between the Caribbean and Bermuda. It should make landfall in the Bahamas and enter the Caribbean from the northwest after finding Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.

And it shouldn't be unlocked by other exploration missions, it should be the one that unlocks them, assuming that mechanic is in play.

IE "you take 100% war score off a great power, you get a boatload of prestige", whereas you don't get much from battles or annexing OPMs.

Either that, or simply scale up the prestige gain from battles a bit. Gaining 0.19 prestige in a non-wipe victory in which you pitted your entire army just doesn't make sense. Pre 1.11, reaching 100 prestige was absurdly easy because wipes gave between 2.50 and 5.00 prestige, which obviously needed to be dialed down. I think it's fair that wipes give an insignificant amount of prestige, since most of the fighting has likely already occurred.

My main gripe is that actual, hard-fought victories seem to give prestige that scales from the raw number of troops involved on either side. Not only is that number too low (I don't think I've had more than 2.00 prestige from a battle since the patch), but it puts small nations at a much greater disadvantage. I mean, 8k troops might not be much to France but as Friesland, that's your entire army for the first decade or so. These two situations shouldn't be put on an equal footing, but here they are.
