I want relics in the game. You should be able to steal or create relics. Also, "retrieve relic" should be a casus belli, similar to the pagan raids. Hmm. Not to forget, having a relic should increase your income (if put into a city), your army morale (if kept by ruler) or your piety / religious authority (if put into a church). Of course, you can also lose it if that place gets raided / you lose a battle.

If your father was known as "the Saint", can you chop him up to pieces and sell them as relics?

You can check the box for giving out titles below and do it a duchy at a time.

well, it gets very annoying when you do a muslim invasion and have to individually revoke every single darn barony/mayor/bishop and every county to replace them with muslims

You can leave the plot invitation list open if instead of left clicking a portrait you right click and choose diplo.

How about having a checkbox for each person on the list? That way, you can go down the list, ticking the box for each person you want to invite to the plot and at the bottom of the window, there can be three buttons - "Invite To Plot", "Invite All To Plot" and "Invite All Selected To Plot".

I'd like to see cross-platform multiplayer compatibility between Linux and Windows. I hate having to switch over to my Windows install just to play with my non-linux friends. Every other PC game in the world that is on Linux and Windows handles things just fine. Why not CK2?

Well, then you'd be inviting every drunk lush that likes you into the plot, and that might be a bad thing. Leaving the invite to plot list window open while dealing with diplo might be better.

Some plots, eg revoke a county are simply get 80%, with all eligible vassals worth 200%. Problem is when you get to a large realm, you have lots of vassals worth 1-3% each, so you sit there inviting 30 odd people to a plot simply trying to get the magic 80% to get to send a letter. Drunk lushes don't matter. It simply starts to become disconcerting busywork.

Even plots where nearly everybody wants to come along, but there are 20 of them are tiresome. 'Invite selected' mnetioned down the page is a good option.

I like the checkbox too, but it seems out of character, for the Paradox UI. I can think of only 1 checkbox in the entire UI, and thats the maternally marriage one

I think they should just overhaul those plots to work more like the murder plot. Right now they resemble factions more than plots, and there is no incentive to keep a non-murder plot active for more than the time it takes to invite everyone to join it.

Don't discourage them! That checkbox wasn't part of the original UI - it was only added a couple of patches ago.

Except thats kind of the point of plots like that - you aren't waiting for an event to let you send a letter, you are saying 'I have a plurality of people who think your land should be my land, so give it up'.

There could be events for justification. One of your supporters "found" a document that proves your great grandfather had the land stolen from him, etc.

Right now those plots are very boring. You select the plot and look at the list of plotters. If the green ones (plus you) sum to 80% power you are good to go. If not, cancel the plot and try again later or another target. Unless you *really* need it, and have to figure out whether you can bribe enough supporters.

Basically, there's no opportunity to get caught, so there's no risk and no tension. Only a final die roll for whether he gives it up without a fight.

Alright, here's my list of 4 big changes that I probably should be made.

1) All republics should be playable. Even if the mechanic for them is simple and boring. It's really frustrating losing the game just because I lost my ducal title.

2) A republic should have the ability to hold more than 5 families. This is both for modders, and I like the idea of a larger republic having dozens of competing families. (Making it harder for you to just assassinate your way into being the doge.)

3) If a family in a republic is destroyed it's trade posts should be divided by a bunch of new families. Not all given to one random family. On that note decadence revolutions shouldn't be for the whole realm. It should be for a section of the realm that then becomes independent.

4) If a family is no longer part of a merchant republic they should still keep their trade posts. If #1 were the case, and a count level republic rebelled for lower crown authority, all their trade posts shouldn't be burned or given to a new family. Also, it would give an incentive for a merchant republic to become nobility... even if the family couldn't build anymore more trade posts until it was part of a merchant republic.
