No achievements, but you still can't use the console or save and reload (at least not the normal way). Some people like it because it prevents them from cheating easily; it's always been like this in CK2, not sure why EU4 still doesn't have it.

Actually, that's got me thinking. How about some more achievements locked to later start dates? Would probably get more people playing those starts, as well as opening up all sorts of new options for achievements.

Agree. Hard and not tedious are the best. I wish they would only make those kind of achievements.If they were actually hard, rather than just tedious (like WC), then sure. Preferably actually hard and *not* tedious – there are very few such achievements at the moment.

Do I need the DLC to do the achievement? Because I, as Spain, launched a War Galleon from Lisboa, crossed the Magellan's Strait, went all the up the West side of America, then Philippines, Maldives, Cape of Good Hope and then Lisbon again and didn't received it.
