I do recall that a lot of hardcoded changes went into 1.08 that are advisable to have installed... 1.09 was just softcoding, and less important for proper gameplay IIRC.

1.10 overwrites the exe, thus all hardcoded changes from 1.08 are "lost" and replaced by what 1.10 has to offer. It has been the intention that 1.10 has no hardcoded feature loss compared to 1.08.
It is my understanding that 1.10 is an all inclusive patch. So all softcoded changes from 1.09 are included. 1.09 included a softcoded changes from 1.08 etc..
There is no reason to install any patch prior to 1.10. Simply install 1.10. Everything else is a waste of time and possibly harddrive space.
Starting from this patch, you will need this: Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) to run the game.
You need to install the following:
Remember to install the 32 bit version as AoD is a 32 bit application.
Thanks. It was something about C++Please carefully read the first post and what you need to install to run 1.10 and further versions
My thoughts exactly. HoI4 is a disaster. I think there are two things for AoD to be even better:Fantastic work guys. Just came to say that. Looks like AoD will remain the best Hoi game for another few years.

- New map (a bit modified version of Victoria 2's map would be the best for the era)
- Bigger fonts and icons for interface
I would like to see these improvements in an expansion or even AoD2.

Is there anything we can do to help tackle the brittle synchronisation model? I play with 6-8 players using GameRanger and we have to play at below normal speed pre-war, and slow/very slow during war - and we still desych every 3-4 game months. I'm more then happy to provide whatever information is relevant to hopefully make AoD more online compatible.Cannot claim that, no. Sadly, multiplayer stability testing is very much non-deterministic.
Generally, it should be fine in LAN, as soon as WAN is involved, all bets are off. The synchronisation model involved is pretty brittle.
If you manage to reproduce OOSes linked to specific actions, those could be fixed, of course. Eventually.
