Shouldn't it? Or am I misreading something?
He mis-typed. Austria currently does not have a core on Gorz.

You'd think I'd know not to play a Paradox patch on release day by now. At least I remembered to hold off on spending any money until the hotfix (and user reviews) come out.
That ideas force you to pick diplo, admin, mil 50% minimum
eg, you can't pick two military right after each other your forced to pick between diplo or admin instead as it blocks it out now you will be forced to pick one idea from one of the lists
I didn't have that problem but I did have a problem where a selection box wouldn't select land units (but it did select naval units). I won't post a bug report unless it happens again or I can figure out what happened but tabbing out of the game and back in fixed it. Perhaps it will work for the mouse wheel as well.Mouse Wheel is no longer working for me in 1.10 anyone else tried that?
no problem. It was my fault with my response anyway. We'll move on. At least that is getting added as a bug, so hopefully it'll go away.Sorry I snapped. I think I'm in the same boat as you with being irritated by the bug. You'd think I'd know not to play a Paradox patch on release day by now. I guess they took the easy way out and removed the broken information provided instead of fixing the calculation. When sending light ships to protect trade the tooltip no longer tells you whether you gain profit or loss of money. Wtf?! :/
It's 'maximum of' actually. You can pick 2 same category idea groups after each-other so long as that comes out to: [ (# of idea groups in one category/# of unlocked idea group slots) = .5 ]
So you CAN take 2 in a row, but they'd have to be idea groups 3 and 4 or otherwise. You can even take 3 or 4 in a row, but they would have to be 4, 5, 6 (or later) or 5, 6, 7, 8 respectively.
So seems like what most people would do anyway, though I would have prefered this to have BEEN IN THE PATCH NOTES. I feel like this is a balance for multiplayer, but if that's it then it should be an option instead of a forced choice.

Took me a total of 5 minutes of "play-testing" to realize there are no modifiers added to or removed from AE. Your wargoal AE (that is 2/Bt) is exactly what you get from everyone, from portugal to moskovy.
So as usual, no body at Paradox actually tested any of this, or hell, even opened the game after updates.
Thats not true its still affected by distance.
Edit
at lest for me
As Denmark, I can't diplo-integrate Sweden or Norway even if I have over 190 relations. This is because they have higher base tax than mine. The only option is to diplo-annex Holstein first and then start integrating PU partners. Was this always the case?
Every time.
Like the cost of increasing and reducing Tariffs was increased by 25 monarch points. Don't remember seeing that in the patch notes.
Or naval exploration is affected by colonial range.
