Nationalist Spain has been identified in this patch, but Italy also often joins the Axis far too early and subsequently has to fight in French North Africa, Southern France, Egypt and East Africa all at once. Make it so they only enter the war after France's demise is nothing but certain (as is historical).
Japan is also guilty of this. It often joins the Axis while the war in Europe is raging and decides to join against the Western Allies at some date that is wildly ahistorical. It also does this without attacking the U.S. first, often leading to Japan being at war with the Netherlands and the UK without ever declaring on the U.S. imo it should be all three or none - the idea that Japan can declare on the first two without the latter is insanity.
Also the same for other Axis minors, e.g. Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
Just give us historical or at least plausible entry dates for the war unless the player first does something wildly ahistorical. Thankls.
