England was meant as an exception to my point, not as the basis of my point.

Well by subjects I mean vassals, not the serfs(petty peasants). The most powerful vassals were Norman, so he never experienced any problems with being a foreigner. The melting pot happened over centuries and involved the serfs as well.

My first point remains valid even though I admit to somehow forgot the point you made with Wilhelm. Being a foreigner should not cause such chaos as it does. As soon as the Bavarian king is Castillian, the Austrian duke wants independence. I just don't see it. Something needs fixing.

- More options with absolute cognatic law. Maybe make it so that women get more rights, like being able to be council members? There have been some women who were administrators and even fighting wars. Exceptions, yes, but they existed.
- Perhaps introduce the far east Asian nations like China once Marco Polo completes his voyage? Perhaps not as playable, but as diplomatic or trade missions? We do get the Hindustan guy event and I even saw a Japanese swordsman training me for my martial ambition, so perhaps we could see them introduced?
- More events! Role-play, personality traits, etc.
- Make it harder to increase crown authority. When you're a duke and the crown authority is at medium or higher, it's pretty hard to increase your power outside of marriage.

Actually, I just want to see a button that allows you to change culture to that of the majority your subjects. For example a Castillian becoming king of Bavaria should be able to press a button that lets him become German. The button is there if your liege is of another culture, so why not the other way as well?

You can have a local educate your heir; Frederick II might be an example of a monarch becoming Sicilian that way. If anything, it’s probably too easy, as an adult, to convert to the culture of your liege. But it should not be harder to learn the local language, and probably shouldn’t require giving up tutelage of your children.

A dynamic alliance system independent of marriage. Or the ability of arranging marriage between different cultures and religion groups.

If you dont use the Quick finder Marriage button but normal Diplomacy button you can marry whomever says yes.
For example, you can as a Christian marry the daugher of the Khan of Cumans and have the Steep Tribes as an ally from your Father in Law, who just has to hate your enemies more than the you

I'd like to be able to offer people a job before they arrive at my court. I'd suspect some of those not wanting to move, might reconsider if they are promised a job as steward or whatever.

Or offering some relatives the land. Sometimes you want to give them, but they don't want to move.

I'd like to see the regency system be totally overhauled (but that's probably more for a DLC).

I.e. where a regent can act on behalf of the king, and call up troops, summon vassals, hand out court jobs, imprison people and so on, through the user interface, not through clunky events. This would let us have 100x more fun with regencies - both from the side where you play a powerless king, and from the side where you play an ambitious regent. Fatimid Egypt and the Abbassid Caliphate come to mind, with their Caliph/Wezir system of government; also some of the medieval kings and queens who had to struggle enormously with guys who were appointed (by barons, mothers etc) as their regents.

Just for flavor and variety, terrain levy modifiers : more archers from forest regions, more light cavalry from hills, way less heavy and light cavalry from mountains, maybe a light infantry boost to coastal provinces to represent sailors, way less heavy infantry and heavy cavalry from deserts...

I wish for an improved peasant rebellion. The current version is simply dull and pointless - if you are a powerful lord, you simply crush them on your way to your next major war, if you are a minor count, all you can do is sit and dawdle till the peasants finally get bored of sacking your castle. Hell, you cannot even call your liege for help, isn't he meant to protect you for god's sake?

I think some mods already improved minor rebellions, in a way that they give a penalty to taxation and prevent you from raising your levy in that county, instead of creating a rebel army. But I consider this only step one. There should be also major rebellions that spread like wildfire and endanger whole duchies.

My idea would be as follows:

1) Minor rebellion. Can be stopped by your marshal (randomly) or via event.

2) Infliction. If the rebel's demands are not met there should be a chance that the peasants in neighbouring provinces get drawn into the conflict and rebel as well.

3) Once a whole duchy rebels (or something like that) a rebel army should spawns that behaves like an invading mercenary company. That would allow you to call your allies into the conflict.

Each time a rebellion is started or it gets worse, you should have a chance to call your liege for protection. This should cost you a lot of prestige, though. Perhaps the options could be even determined by your traits - a wroth character won't be able to deal peacefully with the peasants, while an ambitious character won't call for help before the invasion starts.

So much good stuff here, that I'll go with a very simple change:

Allow us to delete multiple saved games at one time, from within the game.
While could be good, can be very easily and effectively done via Windows Explorer/Mac Finder, therefore developer time for this 'feature' I believe could be better utilized (i.e.: adding/expanding features that we cannot have otherwise).

1)I want Sicilian culture because it makes sense

2)Grandparent influence in marriage of grandchildren, I hate when my King lives in to advance age and I look up my heir's heir and he is either unmarried at age 34 (looking for a better alliance) or married to some Master Theological cousin of his.
