What if the DLC modified the map or the history files? Wouldn’t this force a reload anyway?

DLCs NEVER change the map or the history files. That would change the checksum. And paradox don't want to make DLC with a checksum change.

DLC definitely changes flags, portraits and coats of arms. So, there could never be a DLC that extends the game date? Adds more historical characters in people’s courts? And mods can change the history files, so would they not be selectable through the same interface? This one, I think, needs some more thought.

Mods and DLCs are other things. And yes DLC can change graphical issues. But this wouldn't affect the checksum or the game... Hm... Yes the graphics could be problematic and the game must make a reload for them *nods*

And no, DLCs wouldn't add more characters or more titles. The whole Aztec titles and cultures are in the patch, not in the DLC.

Remember that with all major DLCs also come with patches, and all map and history file changes are in those patches and almost never the DLC proper.

Flags, portraits, coats of arms - these are minor aesethic changes that would not actually affect the game per se. Map and history, on the other hand, will make gameplay very much different, if you think about it - and these will change the checksum, meaning that if they were only added to the DLC, then the DLC game would be incompatible with the non-DLC one, which means trouble for multiplayer and mods.

1) search characters list by traits. It will really save a lot of time to be able to see all canditates with sertan traits. I mean all character lists. Some times I want to see all genious, other time generals with sertan traits.
2) End all plots button. It will really help later in game. I wantt o ask everyone to end plot, but later in game it become too big chore.
3) Invite every one to plot. Again, later in game you neeed to invite 50 people to plot which take tooo long.
4) In general list some mark for generals allready leading armies. If yoiu have more then 1-2 armies it become very dificult to keep trait and not resign one general from one army to other.
5) Ability to sort list by relationship to thurd character. Some times I want to see who like some leader, but it take extrimelly long time.

This word (beylerbey) is not in Oxford, Cambridge or Merriam-Webster English dictionaries. Why? Because it is not an English word.

It should be "beylerbeyi" as this is the correct word for Turkish.

Na, the point is that in the english version the title names should either be easily understandable by mainly english speaking folks ("western hemisphere") or at least common well known desciptions.

The problem that exists, is that all language cultures(all folks from different nations on this forum for instance) will ask/demand for a namechange.
These descriptions of titles need to be easily understood at the same time for most users of the game.

Just in case, as it seems there could be quite a few turkish players (regarding your example) try to find people and get together in making a turkish language mod.
Even for the german edition there is one, as Paradox' translation can be a bit off sometimes.
I believe there is even one for french and spanish.

Na, the point is that in the english version the title names should either be easily understandable by mainly english speaking folks ("western hemisphere") or at least common well known desciptions.
Your examples though are easily understandable and easy to interpret.

The problem that exists, is that all language cultures(all folks from different nations on this forum for instance) will ask/demand for a namechange.
These descriptions of titles need to be easily understood at the same time for most users of the game.

Just in case, as it seems there could be quite a few turkish players (regarding your example) try to find people and get together in making a turkish language mod.
Even for the german edition there is one, as Paradox' translation can be a bit off sometimes.
I believe there is even one for french and spanish.

But the term in the western world is Beylerbey, without the -i... Look at wikipedia. or google books (24000 founds). Beylerbey had over 100000 but only because the city next to Istanbul.

-Having traits affect Ai behaviour (content characters never bother to fabricate or press claims, wroth characters start wars and imprison people at the first exccuse, paranoid characters plot often etc.)

-Having player actions affect your traits (blobbing a lot might replace content with amibitous, murdering someone will make you lose your kind trait etc.)

-More casus bellis between different realms that aren't about claiming lands.

Senseless and unplausible. Imagine you were the vassal, would you like that. Its a vassals vassal not yours. Feudal nations based on a feudal contract.

Solution to your problem:
You can though create a title claim on your direct vassal, revoke his upper title, so his vassals wil become yours. Voila !
...or make him revolt, crush and revoke.
