Also Absolute Monarchy should mean something more, not just more taxes or levies. Also playing as a Muslim Sultan, when I'm had maximum crown authority, my vassals can still declare war on one another, and change around my carefully built duchies!!

It should mean a shit ton of rebellions and little else. There's no such thing as absolute monarchy in this era. The only monarchies with anything close to absolute central power (which still was nowhere near) were busy collapsing.

- Jews (culture and religion) at courts with a lot of stewardship value (maybe special trait and another trait that prohibits marrying with another religion unless character is converted)
- addition to LoR - ability to back off great schism playing as a catholic - unify all Christians
- remade Russian faces DLC - women look ugly...
- remade Mongol faces DLC - especially children portraits
- made Indian faces independent from Sunset Invasion DLC on/off. I bought it to get these faces in my ruler creator, but I dont want Invasion. Invasion should be toggled on/off in game, when you can choose country.

Jews won't happen because devs have said there is no point making hordes of unlanded courtiers to the game just for the sake of having them.

But what if a way to get technology, espionage and economic development is to build trade networks east? Or, every now and then, a Chief Rabbi pops up to tell you of the latest thing that just happened to the Jews of your kingdom, with a grow/exploit/feel-good trade-off?

Wasn't that his planning skills, seeing as the game got canned for quality control and deadline issues?

The guys who made Sword of the Stars II had those same problems but still got their game published. The end of the Magna Mundi saga was filled with all kinds of strange reports of Ubik being impossible to deal with on a personal level, not to mention constant dishonesty involving the state of the product.

Though I already have a post. I thought of another idea.

In EU3 after you resign it shows who reigned, for how long and what they accomplished. However, on CK2 it only shows how you did in comparison to other great dynasties and the list of rulers for how long.

Why not have the more EU3 type ending?

It's safe to say that the fiasco is the main reason why CK2 is high on stability.... and low on features. PI now places stability above everything else, and putting in new features will no doubt prompt the question: "Will it be buggy?" If they can't squash it during development, they can the whole idea.

The following issues / aspects NEED to be addressed, and we'd like them to be solved either on the next patch OR on some incoming DLCs plz!...:

1) Naval battles + creation of various types of ships (transport / combat ones etc)

2) Ability to create more things in our castles / cities / churches

3) Reduce the monthly cost of the mercenaries. 6g+ / month is way too high for (usually) 1,5k men omg!

4) Reduce / eliminate the tendency that all vassals are extremely hostile when a new heir of our dynasty rises to the throne (even though his predecessor was a "man of the people" so to speak)

5) Incorporate attrition to the Golden Horde troops and rationalize their numbers + reinforcements!

6) Eliminate the "Kingslayer" attribute from our King when we kill an EXCOMMUNICATED heir / dynasty-member! If the Pope excommunicates anyone, it should be apparent that you need not "aplogize" later on to him in the game doing..."Ave Marias" and paying (n in gold / prestige) for your..."sin"!

7) Make a menu where we can directly communicate with every and all of our ALLIES. And make them participate more often in our "private" (Kingdom) wars instead only when we are fighting Holy Wars!

8) Make a menu for diplomacy-related initiatives. Like signing trade agreements / embargo foreign powers / technology agreements with friendly nations / mutually declaration of wars against common foes / Tax incoming (non hostile) foreign armies when they pass through our (land) territories, and so on

9) Make an option available to us where we can claim + be able to attack even "independent" provinces (through incorporating our chancellor for that matter I suppose)

10) Reduce the gold requirements in all building-types within our castles / towns / churches. Seriously, we only get to build everything in like 1-2 provinces before the game ends due to these (very high) costs!

11) Increase the technology improvement rhythm of the game. You cant seriously insist of being "historically accurate" in *that* aspect of the game when, for instance, when you have no naval battles, the Golden Horde is like a Force from...outer space, and the...Aztecs swarm the lands like the locust!!!

12) Ability to interact more with the Muslim Kingdoms (if we play a Christian one) and vice-verse. If we are in good terms with them, we should be able to sign agreements (trade / technology etc - see also "8" above), or even alliances with them (if we, say, have a 80%+ "acceptance" ratio by their part).

Implementing these changes will make this game like REALLY awesome, so I (we) hope to see them taking place soon enough!

:cool::)

The following issues / aspects NEED to be addressed, and we'd like them to be solved either on the next patch OR on some incoming DLCs plz!...:

I mostly disagree.

  1. Does this model the period? Did countries historically need strong navies and to fight naval battles to invade England? Or did even the Vikings mainly just land ground troops?
  2. I mostly agree. There should generally be many small ways to develop the economy, rather than one big one. The family palace (as one commenter suggested, “estate” would be a better name for it in English) from the Republic DLC sounds like an idea that could fit the feudal game well: you should be able to build rooms, buy things and collect gifts that will add flavor to your dynasty centuries later.
  3. I don’t think what the game needs is easier blobbing.
  4. You can already start your heir off with prestige and money by giving him land while you’re alive, which is a good trade-off because it puts you at risk of a coup. I could see an argument for weak claimants to dispute the succession immediately, if it was completely in order, or not at all. The game perhaps should also enable the historical titles used to designate a heir-apparent (such as King of the Romans in Germany, or Prince of Wales in England); perhaps, if you can establish that law and get your vassals to agree to crown your heir while you’re still alive, no one can press a weak claim on that title, and its vassals cannot join a pretender faction.
  5. Attrition could be added to the Golden Horde (at lower levels) when the AI improves to the point that it can handle them. Lack of attrition is not that inaccurate; the reason to change it is to make the hordes easier to beat. (So maybe it could be tied to difficulty level.) The real problem here is that doomstacking is a dominant strategy, and this makes the Mongols the best doomstackers. I would argue that the reinforcements would be better represented as vassal companies capable of revolting against the liege, and perhaps with weak claims to his title to encourage them to do so. This at the least would make revolts conceivable.
  6. I disagree with this proposal. You should not be able to first excommunicate and then murder your relatives without consequence. You’re still a kinslayer, and people would know what you were up to.
  7. These are really separate ideas. It’s already possible to request help against internal revolts, as it should be. (If anything, it should be possible to take sides in a conflict between vassals; if the reason not to allow this is that your other vassals should object, then make it a tyrannical action.) Technology should probably spread slowly along trade routes you’ve nurtured.
  8. The idea is basically solid; people in the Middle Ages did coordinate war plans and right of passage in advance, rather than declare war first and then find out if their ally would actually let them march there.
  9. I don’t understand what you’re requesting. You can already have your chancellor do this.
  10. It would indeed be better to have more frequent and smaller development than rare and expensive development, and perhaps for more of it to happen without your instigation, although possibly with your help. (If you’re consistently having money problems, you might be able to raise your income in various ways.)
  11. Naval battles between Europeans typically were fought near the coast and consisted of hand-to-hand battle between boarding parties anyway. Battle in a coastal zone between troops on board the fleets could make sense; building a large fleet to prevent the enemy army from landing or blockade their ports would be anachronistic. Perhaps you could have more of this in the late game. The Mongols should be a scary end boss. If the player chooses to buy the Aztec expansion and turn on the invasion, that should be an even more challenging end boss. I would suggest that players should have more control (and in more flavorful ways) of importing technology, particularly through foreign trade routes and peaceful development.
  12. Christian rulers did in fact form marital alliances with nations such as the Cumans and Mongols. These are already in the game.

What I want in 1.09
1. I want to be able to have 2 character information windows open so that I can compare stats when I am looking for a spouse.
2. I want a pop up for every intrigue event my spymaster discovers with the faces of both the aggressor and the target so I can figure out who is trying to do what to who without having to go into the intrigue window and scrolling through 30 different intrigues to find the one that just popped up to decide whether I want to interfere or not. Right now only ones involving members of my dynasty get a pop up. But all intrigue events are important. Far more so than say so and so prefers so and so to be heir to such and such kingdom. Or even so and so accepted/declined so and so's call to war. Those are just spam to me.
3. Fix the Tournament bugs.
4. Creating some kind of rally point for your troops so you don't have to click on every single one to tell them where to go. When you have a lot of counts or even minor dukes as vassals, it is tedious to be forced to select the troops for every county and issue commands to them. It actually makes me not want to go to war.
5. Fix teleporting troops. When I am being invaded. I don't bother sending troops anymore, especially for my King level vassals. I just raise troops on the county the enemy troops are on. So if there are enemy troops in county A, B and C. I just raise levies in county A until they win, drop levies and then raise troops in county B, rinse and repeat. This "feature" is rather useful for defense and ping ponging, but I have to say its really unrealistic.

If its noit already in the Game a mechanic for Kings to sell lands and titles for money to finance there wars such as what Richard I did to pay to get his men to the holy land fo the 3rd crusade
