I'd like to see useful info when choosing a job for my councilor. For instance, when I want to send my marshal to suppress revolt, show me the revolt state of each county of my realm. When I want to convert populace, show me the religious map of my realm etc. That would be easier imo.

This has probably been suggested before, but can we have a proper black death mechanic? It's rather silly as of now, being just another epidemic. IRL the black death caused major political and societal upheaval; it would be nice if this is at least a little bit represented in-game.

It would really be great, to be able to educate or invite the children of your character, if they are not in your kingdom. I really can't believe, they still haven't fixed this. It can't be too difficult, to add something like a "father +++++++" modifier.

An additional tier ! Mostly for modding purposes !

I do believe this will make things easier to describe some situations that are currently limited by current tiers number. This would especially help in balancing kingdoms.

For example kingdom of France is a big one and has similar power to the HRE. But the emperor is able to have vassal kingdoms, whereas the French king can't. Actually they were considered as peers and a level above other kings.
I would find interesting to consider France as a 4th-tier title, composed out of 3rd-tier titles that historically were Neustria, Aquitania and Burgundy (sometimes called "regna"), each one being composed out of 2nd-tier duchies. It is not important whether those French 4th-tier title would be called a "kingdom" or not, since this is localizable.
Similarly Germany would be the sum of the 3rd-tier "stem-duchies".
In my opinion those regna and stem-duchies are of same tier as less wide kingdoms such as the spanish or celtic ones.

The 5th-tier would be reserved to empires. The HRE could be one of these, as well as the Roman Empire or the Carolingian one. I would suggest the HRE to be a titular title and the Carolingian Empire (or Western Roman Empire) to be the de jure one, but it's only my opinion ! This would help big blobs to be more manageable (if needed !)

What are your opinions about this ?

I would like more elements of feudalism to be present, considering it played a huge part in noble power: Serfdom could be controlled to some extent by the monarchy, and the more control over property the king has, the more wealth he owns and the more authority is vested in the monarchy, or at least taken from the nobles.

I think that peasent rebellions should have more to them. Right now if you are a large kingdom there is not real point to going to fight a random peasent rebellion as they will capture the place and eventually sod off.

If the peasents tried to set up their own kingdom, independence, etc and were able to gain supporters/move provinces they would be more of a scarier proposition.

You get a +25 relations bonus if you defeat your vassal's peasants though. That's quite nice; I always go defeat the peasants.

And it is not much work at all to defeat them. Just raise vassal levies and smash the rebellion if you are not already at war. Peasant rebellions add little to the game though. They are not much of a threat and there isn't much you can do to prevent them.

I would love to see an Empire Designer a DLC expansion at some point. It would be fun to be able to design you own ambitions to work toward. For example, I might want to create a Kingdom or Empire of Greater Slavia or Unified Italy. The key is to let players work to rewrite history to create kingdoms and empires that fuel their imagination in addition to the designers' imagination and history.

I would also like to see some additional non-historical starting positions for 1066 that are simply included for game play/fun. For example: HRE does not exist, but a bunch of minor dutchies/kingdoms instead.

Palace Coups in the Byzantine Empire following a huge defeat in a war. This should've been in Legacy of Rome honestly, as it's impossible to redo Alexios Komnemos' rise to power with the current in-game mechanics. Making it an option to just take the throne if you have the power and the current Emperor is weak enough seems nigh-mandatory for a real Byzantine experience.

Might have been mentioned before - an ability to rename armies (for retinues primarily). The basic functionality is already there, at one point I edited army names in the savegame - but they eventually reset back to "army of whoever" when their commander changes. Turning that off shouldn't be a big deal.

Oh and I not sure if everyone remembers the Fantasia scenario from EU1, I think that would be cool. To have only one county, trying to get claims ASAP to get kingdoms, wars everywhere.

I seriously doubt the devs would add another tier. Besides, France the de jure kingdom is pretty normal sized; about the size of Burgundy or Lotharingia... the thing is that France has de facto the Kingdom of Aquitaine as well

I would like to be able to see the military stats when choosing generals. The ones shown on the shield with crossed swords in the character page.
When choosing generals that is what you want to see.

Oh and I not sure if everyone remembers the Fantasia scenario from EU1, I think that would be cool. To have only one county, trying to get claims ASAP to get kingdoms, wars everywhere.

Thats not really possible with this engine. The bookmarks only work with years. You must change the whole history files and the history of the basic game to make a fantasy scenario.

In the quick look table right of screen.
Armies: If an army is moving there is a green arrow. Can we please have crossed swords for fighting and buildings for seige.
Would make it a lot easier to keep tabs on what each army is doing.

Thats not really possible with this engine. The bookmarks only work with years. You must change the whole history files and the history of the basic game to make a fantasy scenario.
You could store it after the last start date (have it be the January 2, 1337 start or w/e), but it would limit it to being 100 or so years long.
