Hi, here are a few things all using the same save game:
My character was excommunicated by the Pope and the Pope could not be persuaded to lift it. I had the chaplain heretic event fire so I became Waldensian. I converted my son to Waldensian but I still have -30 with him excommunication penalty, which is not right as a heretic shouldn't care what the Pope thinks. I converted my 3rd son Kai and he was then excommunicated a few years later. For both characters it seems a bit unfair as they have a -30 excomm penalty with Waldensiands and-25/-30 heretic penalty with Catholics.
I also had a few comments about Syphilis:
1) As a sexually transmitted disease it jars to see children catching it (see the late Duke Alisander II of Sicily, died aged 9). If it is going to work like a normal disease perhaps rename to Aztec pox
2) Can we please have a trait for the disease (like pneumonic) so as to see which characters have it easily and the health effects
3) It seems a little bit underpowered compared to the description of it and to the effect of European diseases in the Americas (was expecting half my family to be killed off)
Just one other query - It said in the dev diaries some provinces would gain Aztecs names. In this game Provence has Aztec religion and culture but is still Provence...
