[1.07b] Titular Title Succession Laws

Note: Observed issue since 1.06.


When you are playing as the ruler of a Titular kingdom, (the ruler is the first person to hold the title), your ruler dies the succession changes to "Agnatic Open Elective", you are unable to change the law and a random courtier is chosen as the heir to the kingdom.

If this is WAD then what is even the point of having Titular titles if we cannot rule them for more than 2 generations continuously?
This then forces me to make said titular titles de jur which in some instances I don't want to do.

I think this is a problem with your mod, not a CK2 problem. I played a titular king (of Cornovia) in Lux Invicta in 1.06 and had no problem with succession laws (other than the fact that Shaytana made them freaking hard to change.)

Do you have any idea on what the issue might be? I haven't modded the succession laws which is what confuses me. :/

Do you think it could have something to do with landed titles?

I figured out the issue thanks to richvh comments. I didn't realize that you couldn't give titular titles dignity or make them a primary.
