Hello,
In my current game as the Byzantine Emperor, the Doge of Venice faction rebelled for independence. I figured it was castration time, and then he spawned 60,000 (!!!) rebel troops. All fine and good, I assassinated him and the war was ended. However, for some reason the rebellion troops didn't despawn, and now Venice has a standing retinue of 60,000 (!!!) troops that don't suffer attrition. Not wanting to stare down that barrel, I assigned Venice to the King of Croatia, who he promptly demolished. Not intended I assume?
