I would like to know if BB-wars can trigger due to a monarch change. For example: Spain has a monarch with DIP 6 and 35 BB-point, then they receive a new monarch that only has DIP 4. Does this trigger a BB-war? If so I would like this changed in an upcoming patch so that a BB-war will only kick in if one receives an extra BB-point after hitting the max number. That way BB-wars won't happen due to change of monarchs which is out of the players control.

What else?

Ah yes.

1. I'm pretty sure force annex different religion came back down to 2BB. So it said in the bug forum a week or two ago. Maybe it is 2BB + 1BB for the province or summat.
2. Doesn't the edict of tolerance make a difference for protestants and catholics as to whether they count as different religion or not?

Hmm... I don't think I like this, but on the other hand it will prevent people from calculating exactly how many BB-point they can collect. Will give it a try. :)

I kind of like the idea of BB wars hitting with a monarch change. Simulates neighbouring countries taking advantage of the weak leadership.

Yeah. I hate it when games like this one make you count points and exactly calculate on what month people can declare war. If there is any one thing that history isn't , it's predictable. (No, Marx, there is no predictability, and there never was. ;) )

Not only monarch changes but also scandal at the court, temporary insanity and other random events can lower your BB threshold. A very good effect. There should be more randomness in the game. Randomness brings a risk to being daring.

Does declaring war on a pagan country and taking provinces from them still give you BB points if you're not a European country? It did in 1.05, even though the FAQ then said that it didn't. Non-Europeans could still annex multi-province pagans, but that was a lot of BB points.

Does the rate of BB decrease still depend on the skill level?

Good work Kurt! But I have one question:

What is defined as an "offensive war" or "defensive war"???

I never ever knew that the game distinguished between an offender and a defender nation. This is so confusing when there are Alliance Wars going on. If I respond to my ally's call to battle, then I must "declare war" on the enemy. Does this make me an offender or a defender????

Confused.

Good job, but (this has nothing to do with you), I think that same religion should mean strictly same religion, not group. After Edict of Tolerance, all Christians. After all, if the 2 Moslems hate each other enough to get perma CB's on each other, but they get 6 bb if they annex the heretics?

"Forced Religion Change"

I think anyone can convert a pagan - I tinkered with the game stats and made Lenape Hindu and gave them a 99% war score with the Iroquois, and I was able to select conversion as an option. So it isn't strictly limited to Christians and Moslems.
