I was looking at the script changes for the plot_kill_character events and saw a couple of things that struck me as odd:

  1. The new MTTH modifiers for total plot power don't seem to have been applied for event 7801 "A plot backer sees an opportunity - Boating Accident".
  2. The new MTTH modifiers for the "plotter sees an opportunity" events, the ones that fire for the plot leader herself are scripted the same way as the modifiers for the events that fire for plot backers. They seem to be saying that the MTTH is reduced if the plot leader is backing any plots with high plot power. Is that what was intended?

Expected impact:

  1. Plots to kill children with > 100% plot power would take somewhat longer to complete than plots to kill adults with similar plot power. Plots to kill children with > 100% plot power would be less likely to lead to "boating accidents" than either of the other two types of "accidents".
  2. A plot leader in the same court as his plot target could reduce the time to complete his ambition by backing another assassination plot if that other plot had a total plot power over 100%. Depending on how the engine interprets "any_backed_character" I also think it's possible that a plot leader might be increasingly less likely than his backers to get "opportunities" once total plot power hit 100%.
