I read that it works. I was just wondering if it worked *properly*. And judging by Constantine's response, I think I'll wait until it is officially released.

What in the hell? I didn't have to do anything fancy. I just double clicked the patch file and it installed . . .
I did do a clean install, however, going from CD (1.00) to the patch (1.05). Works a treat. I trust there are no differences whatsoever between the Australian version and the American version, save credits.

I have a North American version of the game and installed the Australian version of the patch and huh... it ding OK !
But the scenario editor won't work properly. First off, I can't click on File -- New and then do the changes and press OK, it says can't find scenarios templates... Critical Error... ABORT !

Well, in fact even if I try to Open a scenario like Fantasia... it works but when I select say Crimea ans start editing the province the whole Scenario editor thing crashes...
I better wait for the North American patch to be available because for now, the only thing this Scenario Editor does is crashing ! If it still doesn't work with the NA version I'll be mad as hell because I've been waiting for months now for the scenario editor program !

Erm...he was talking about how to change ownership of territories in the scenario editor, not how to install the patch

Yup, the Australian version of the patch seems to work just fine on my North American (not US, dammit) version of EU2. But I can concurr - I can't get the scenario editor to work. I keep getting an error of "Failed to initialize DirectDraw. Try setting the colour depth to 16 in your color settings".

It's the australians again.... Last month (or was it 2 months ago) an australian PC-mag leaked an alpha build of Master of Orion 3, saying it was a demo! Now if one never saw people going ballistic, then that was a good example!
