Regarding Thrace, in my last GC (as POL) Ottomans never became a real power, however conquered Byzantines. Most of their lands had been seized by Franco-Venetian alliance already in middle 1500s...
Why? Because they had not enough money (no CoT in Thrace...).

No, because they have high BB, I think. Polish 1.04 is no ideal, but always is better than 1.02. EU2 is no ideal game, but is better than.. Civ3, for example BTW, Laskowski and Smolar really sucks

BB do not matter if they would be powerful enough and full treasury would be helpful a lot. I used to have BB on the outer space level and do not worry about it.
Thrace & Sevilla subject did not regard 1.04, it is general EU2 fault.
In 1.04 they additionaly further corrupted...
