Who can explain me the reason for reasignment of CoTs?
Why is Danzig removed?
If COTs' density in sothern Baltic was too high, I moved it back from Riga to Danzig...
Why no CoT in Thrace and Sevilla? (it's fault of EU2 generally, not 1.04 though)
Castilla is dallying and is not able to form union with Aragonia.
Byzantium completly impotent to survive!!! After all their only trump card was the money from the trade with Orient!
I repaired it myself, adding fortress level 3 in Thrace and 500$ treasury in the beginning as well :)

I moved Danzig from POL to PRU as it was historically, Poland has got CB on it. Population 25000, fortresses level 2 in whole Prussia.
I've added Polish CB in Silesia as well.

Poland - latin tech till the Union of Lublin in 1569. To compensate loss of Danzig I improved fortess level in the capital city to 2.

Some goods' production of my proposal:
Danzig: NAVS
Krakow: salt (famous one - you can still visit those mines :))
Mazovia: metal (to represent ancient iron works in the Kielce area, they could belong rather to Krakow, however it has got such salt mine...)
Silesia: clothes obviously!
Bohemia: metal
Pommern: fish
Sudetten: gold mine, absolutely!
Herz: minerals.
Prussia: ivory (acting amber :))

I cannot undersatnd such new balance of goods' values... :(

Quite historic then :D

The Danzig CoT was removed to make the rest of the baltic CoTs a bit more valuable. You could remove Riga, but that vould make Novgorod too big instead... The CoTs in Trache and Sevilla will pop up through events.

I did my best :)

Do the CoT's not alter gradually over time?
Could you not just take over a different one?

Well, it could be too late for some nations...
There was a great discussion how to reinforce Prussia allowing them to survive. It seems to be the best way I hope.

However barely in 1453... And the "Empire" would not be doomed if handle better with alliances...

The Danzig CoT was removed to make the rest of the baltic CoTs a bit more valuable. You could remove Riga, but that vould make Novgorod too big instead...

Danzig was far more important than Riga in that period and without it Prussia and then eventually Poland (if will eat them :)) are poor bastards...
No Danzig - Lubeck and even Venice extends rapidly and too wide...

The CoTs in Trache and Sevilla will pop up through events.

I've been playing full GC from 1419 till 1819 lately and they did not...

The one in Sevillia appears through an event with Spain, so if for some reason Spain did not form then it is awol.

The on in Thrace only appears if Ottomans capture the province before 1491 otherwise that is not gonna show up

Byzantium completly impotent to survive!!!

Am I missing something?

After all their only trump card was the money from the trade with Orient!

Perhaps a century or two earlier...

I repaired it myself, adding fortress level 3 in Thrace and 500$ treasury in the beginning as well

I could only live with a level 3 fortress if their Morean holdings are given to Athens or, even better, the Ottomans.:) As for the $500, didn't one of the Emperors from that time do time in debtors prison in Venice?

OK, maybe I exagerrated a little bit :) with Byzantine strenghtening, however Constantinopole was really one of the greatest CoT, even taken over by Ottomans and Constantinopole's city walls were probably most powerful in Europe...

If u want to cheat for some nations don't blame it on the game.
It is not a cheat. I wanted just... come back to some EUI preferences.

Back to Poland:
1. To increase my Fatherland power, considering Danzig transfer to TO, I decided to set up Lithuania as the vassal in 1419 to reflect the Union of Krewa (1385).
2. Despite the wide rush about the leaders statistics to be presented for different nations, I haven't noticed any advance for the period 1419-1492 regarding Polish ones in 1.04
My proposals of add-on to the existing leaders.pol file you can see here.

You know - Turks would have aquired this cannon to crush them...

The problem is that most of that trade was controlled by the Italians - Venetian and Genoese - which is reflected quite good with having the area covered by Veneto ;)

Really fabulous point. I really wish that folks would stop projecting the Empire at it's peak on the weak and sick Constantinople of the 15th century...!

Why does it seem like so few of us enjoy the _rare_ occasion when the Ottoman AI *somehow* manages to conquer and annex Thrace? :D

The Ottomans finally got around to taking out the Byzantines- but wait, it's 1505, so those neat little events are for naught :( .

Although I do admire the EEP for doing their best to screw the Byzantines with Poland-like events, people do seem to be a little obsessed with them. The reasons are mostly evident so no need to discuss them.
