True, but to be honest, I am getting tired of waiting
VIP is on hold until the patch so my contributions will not be integrated until it is released.
Well, I do have a challenge for you, if you're interested

. There's one thing that has always bothered me about Victoria - namely, the graphical interface. I've tried playing with your graphical update, but while it looks nice, it doesn't actually resolve what I consider to be the biggest problem with Victoria's graphics - namely, the fact that they're entirely style-less, devoid of even the slightest touch of the Victorian era.
I would love to see something more Victorian for Victoria... and being a total incompetent when it comes to this kind of thing, I can't do it myself

.
Here's a few reference screenshots from other games, to give you some idea of what I'm talking about. Keep in mind, both games were sci-fi and somewhat steampunkish in style, so not
everything on those screenshots is what I'd like to see in Vic

So, how about it? Pleeeeaaaaaaase?

Howevre what does surprise me is that its one hell of a delay which puts this patch behind the release dates of an EU2 patch and CK patch.
Well, that's what I was trying to explain - it's actually not a big delay. It's just another week or two... but it happens to be in one of the most holiday-infested times of the year, so to this week you have to add two or three weeks of holidays. After the CK patch is released on Dec. 15th, they'll return to working on Victoria (presumably - I'm not a part of the beta, so I don't know more than anybody else), but because of Christmas and the New Year, they won't
really be working on it until January.
And why do EU2 and CK get to have their patches done ahead of Victoria? What horrible crime have we commited to deserve this?

Well, it's really quite simple - Paradox
could put Victoria ahead of the other two, delaying both of them, and angering not one, but
three groups of customers. Or they can keep the other two patches on schedule, keeping the vast majority of their customers happy, and bothering only the tiny group of Victoria fans. That's fair - we may well be waiting the longest, but we are the smallest fan group.
Also, consider that the EU2 and CK patches are somewhat less likely to be delayed - the EU2 patch in particular probably doesn't involve any big or even moderate changes, while the CK patch is mainly supposed to be an official release version of the public beta patches that had been produced for the past year or so. So, neither of these two patches is likely to cause delays - while, on the other hand, the Victoria patch has already slipped twice. If they delay the other patches to finish off the Victoria patch, there's no telling whether that delay will be a week, or two months.
