1.04 on november 30 ? (formerly november 23 ?)

If one looks at the new calender you can see that 1.04 is scheduled for release on wednesday 23 of november.

Of course things might change, but I'm thrilled with excitement. I cant wait to know what the changelog looks like.

VIP is actually just waiting for the new patch so they can release 0.5

Definitely not!

The reason is VIP has been balanced to work with the 1.03c broken economy. Now that the economy will be fixed, the whole system will need to be redone.

Luckily Generalisimo and OHGamer are lead betas so they can work on the inside to make the transition for VIP as painless as possible.

P.S.
Yes it will be VIP 0.5 before it is compatible with 1.04. There will be a huge number of changes in this round of patches. All my work listed in the Teaser thread is the lion share of what will happen by my hand but there are other large projects in the works. Even a few things that I will hold back till the patch is released

I'm sure everyone is curious about the specific changes, I am more curious about how drastic they are and their scale than anything. I just hope we are not disappointed.

I don't think the game is dead as the VIP crew have been pretty diligent but you are right in that Paradox is not motivated to go out of their way for Vickie as it just is not a sound investment.

Let's face it, Vickie tanked at it's release. It's doing much better now but that is an historical fact.

I don't think anyone wants to know how much work i put into this next round of patching :wacko: I had an entire list of things to do and I managed to get almost all of them done.

It is just alphabetical.
EDIT: Oops, not quite.
But yes, CK seems to be getting quite a bit of attention, but they seem to think not enough (doesn't everyone, even HOI2. )

I don't play CK, but to be even handed here, I have heard that the game has been mostly supported by public betas. Don't know if it is true though.
