Is it just me, or does it often seem to be the case that the guys who have the most to complain about also seem to be the ones who have not gone to the trouble of registering their games?...

It is just you and a few newbies.

I've been here for about 10 years, bought all PI developed games, never registered a single one and got the patch at Gamersgate the minute it came out.
If by any chance there was a delay, for instances like someone here who is still waiting for the patch since his net retailer hasn’t yet updated (impulse), as usual, would complain at the retailer; if it was my case, Gamersgate.

I pay for ALL my games, and if there are any of you out there who are reading this who do not: drop dead. You're a criminal. The publisher, the developer, and we paying customers owe you nothing.

Now of course if you paid for the game, and have some gripes about patches not being available and what not, I can empathize, as a fellow paying gamer brother.

Pirates on the other hand are scum.

First having trouble with the game and then being called a pirate on the forums is a sure way to get PI customers pissed off.

Just you. Lots of whining in general. A lot of it personal. Some of it directed at forum members for no reason in particular. No real correlation to purchasing or registering, as far as I can tell.

Lennartos I have conntacted my retaildealer (boonty.com) and they say that they are not responsible for the updates, thats paradox!!! and send my a activation number I already have. What should I do ???

The fonts are a known problem, but what exactly is the polish translation missing?

For example:
Kashmir scenario - Pakistan description
Korea scenario - USSR description
Suez scenario - Great Britain description
Those three are in German. There is also some missing(no text or english/german text) events and buttons descriptions. Look for it in new events and buttons you added to game.

And you know that, for example, place for "Artilery Bombardment" text is empty?

Why you didnt fixed those bugs in 1.03? I reported those more than month ago! I really hope that you will take care of this in 1.04

To fix at least the missing "artillery bombardment" string, open file boostertext.csv (located in ...\AoD\config\), go to line 1483 and, under column "G", insert "ostrzał artyleryjski" (albo to, co brzmi najlepiej ).

BTW I've noticed that polish lines from 1472 to 1491 are missing too.

I believe Paradox wants patches to be distributed through official means, otherwise Pirates may get a hold of them.

Thought that getting the patch by pressing the update button was the offical means. At least thats the way I have gotten all my patches for every PI game I own that has the update button.

Update button does not work for my game bought through Gamersgate, but logging in to my GG account and downloading it works.

Looks like the patch distribution process is not thought through, or documented, or both.

Can the people who know please explain how to get the patch from each of the possible distributors, with the steps involved. And can we please have a more sensible patch policy in future. This won't do, it's a mess.
