The event result upon further study of the psionic animals yields a modifier that - for some reason - got the ship as the target. Obviously this event thereby doesn't work, effectively making each of the two choices the same. I foresaw it the moment I read the text naming the Viper as target. The planet got no modifier past clicking as expected. The second one - denying the beasts the food - also only gives the + happiness buff, but also no negative modifier for the planet which would be expected. You want to take the food afterall.

My guess is therefore that the happiness buff does NOT belong in the first choice and only in the second, right? So without looking at the event in the files I guess maybe a { was lost.

On a personal note: Didn't you guys test all achievements per ingame trigger at least once? This isn't the first dead event here.
