The 1.04f patch for Civilization III: Play the World was released two days before the game was anywhere, so I thought I ought to make sure.

Doesn't count. PTW was only the 2nd half of Civ3 so the game was already out when the patch came along

What? No, I just think it was a poorly designed and programmed game and selling it in 2 parts is a rip off.

Hopefully it will come out tomorrow although I saw another thread that said (per SFI) that it would be w/i a week (not too encouraging).

However, given the huge list of changes etc (and some really significant ones it appears) to the game via the 1.01 patch, it'd be disappointing to start the game without them.

Oh well, I'm sure we'll all gladly have the unpatched game that wasting hours a day combing through the posts and calling EB/GS
