[1.0] Ironman Save switched countries bug

Hey,
My first HoI4 ironman campaign was doing well into 1941 until I tried to load it today after checking out USA in non-ironman SP.

Now my ironman's country switched from Falangist Poland to USA. The year and everything seems to be correct, even on the save it still says Ironman Poland 1. Loading the game worked just fine before that, no mods used.

Uploading the save and screenie, hopefully some dev can figure out what caused it AND fix my save so I can continue ; ]
(0it won't let me upload HoI4 save as is, gives out "The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension.")

Same thing happened to me in 1.0.1 (f680) -- my UK game is now making me play as Ireland, a country I had briefly looked at in a different game. Savefile attached.

EDIT: Fixed it by starting a new Ironman UK game and then loading this file from the "Load Game" option; it reverted me back to the UK.

A workaround is to load the game and then immediately load the same game again from the in-game menu.
