[1.0.3] Ubuntu 14.04 borderless window minimizing

I'm running Stellaris on Ubuntu 14.0.4 and I have the display settings set to borderless window(fullscreen) but everytime I click out of the game it minimizes. There's not much reason to have this feature if it works the same as a fullscreen application would.

If any further info is needed i'll happily provide it, great game.

im not from paradox, but you want to provide what your system specs are. im running stellaris on xubuntu 16.04 with oibaf ppa (for the latest video drivers) on my i7-4770 with a 7870 using the radeonsi driver and i thought it works for me. (i will test later when i come back from cycling).
do you also have a bugged cursor ingame?
