Playing as the Commonwealth of Man with the Military Dictatorship government (no election until ruler dies). My ruler died, and I only had one military officer, so he was the only candidate for the post of ruler. Before the election settled in 2 months or however long it takes, he died of old age.
Then I got the message that Grand Marshal ! was chosen as the new ruler and will rule until their death. Tried recruiting a couple of admirals to see if anyone would magically take the position but no luck, so I'm ruled by no one now.
