I've had this happen three times now. Two of which were after the most recent patch. After completing the national focus to gain the alliance with the Soviet Union, I proceed to invite the fascist countries that had been part of the Axis before and then the Soviet Union leaves. One game I invited them again and they joined, then left, then joined, then left until finally they declared war on Poland and I did as well and they joined and stayed in the alliance. But in the other two instances they simply leave and have around a +273 for joining and a -303 for not joining. After they leave there's always a -100 Alliance Conflicts with strategic interests or something along those lines. I'm guessing that the Soviets aren't supposed to be instantly leaving which is why I'm reporting it.

To Reproduce:
1. Take national focus as Germany to get alliance with Soviets
2. Invite fascist buddies (I invited Italy and Bulgaria the three times that the Soviet Union left)
3. Watch the Soviet Union leave your faction that now oddly contains their capital in its name implying they're in it but are not

Edit: You don't even need to invite the other fascist countries for them to leave, they spontaneously leave without inviting them.

Hello!
Thank you for your report!
This is a known issue and will most likely be fixed in the next patch! :)

As they pointed out, this should also probably be fixed as well @Distantaziq Probably just shift the leadership to the next most powerful nation in the alliance when the Soviets leave.
Hmm, but I guess the Soviet player might want to invite their old Comintern buddies into the new Berlin-Moscow alliance (I'm thinking specifically in mutliplayer, but maybe once in a blue moon the German AI will approach the Soviet Union player with the offer) so that isn't necessarily a good solution - especially when you consider that the next powerful nation in the Comintern could be a Soviet puppet. Anyway, it sounds like the devs are on the case.
