2. Description: Playing as Japan, historical mode. I didn't join the Axis but conquered China and pushed tension to 100%. Germany started WW2 in '38. Romania joined the Allies but were attacked and conquered by USSR. While the Allies had their hands full with both Axis and Comintern, I declared war on the Allies in order to conquer Asia.
Somewhere in there, I took the national focus to start my own faction, but dismantled it. I'm not able to create a new one as far as I can tell.
Now I'm still factionless, but both the Axis and Comintern are marching through my territory even though I haven't given them military access. When I conquered the middle east, I noticed that I was actually liberating territory for Vichy France despite not being in the Axis!
