[1.0.0(9b5a)]Bombarding Fortified Titans

So i got a planet with Titan species and got the research related to them. As outcome i got an uprising of titans and they occupied my planet. So i started to build ground forces and wanted to retake the planet.
the problem is the planet is still considered mine and i cant bombard it with my Navy so i cant take the fortification down. this is why i cant retake the planet because i cant do any damage to the titans with have massive HP.

There's more people with this problem. In a reddit thread about it people claimed that if you win a war, the planet with the titanic life is no longer occupied.
