My friend is having trouble joinging my game in stellaris, i think it's something to dow ith the checksum of the game, his is 0D3e and mine is D050, we know mine's the right one for banks, but how can i fix this so i can play with him?
I've tried both of these, he's got no mods, and all the same DLC, we've both verified out caches tooIts non of the official releases so is his game modded by any chance?
If not, he may need to verify the games cache in Steam.
Only difference is he's got a Mac and i've got a PC, but we've been able to play in the pastIts non of the official releases so is his game modded by any chance?

I'm running a mac (no mods) and got 0d3e, too. Strange!Only difference is he's got a Mac and i've got a PC, but we've been able to play in the past
Can I recommend you entirely close and restart steam? If that doesn't trigger an update, try right clicking on Stellaris in the Steam Library -> properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game files. Also make sure you've opted out of any beta branches.
thank youWe're going to investigate and solve this ASAP.
Thanks Very much that really helpsPossible workaround until a proper fix: you can apparently still look for the game in the list/direct join via ID and it should still work. There's another slightly overlapping issue where you have to manually enter server ID, it's not populating automatically as it should. We will push a fix for this live at the maximum safe speed.
I can confirm I have the same problem.
My game tells me I have version D050. But when the you host the game it changes to s 0D3e.
You can see this in the lobby with everyones game. I had difficulties joining games but eventualy I got in.
