On day in not going to check this sub forum first thing in the morning... on that day mod will update
but no thanks for keeping us in the loop as much as possible
NOBODY* is interested in Akavir, it just too big of a hassle to delete it. Basically, it's just there.
*Well, maybe a few people will try out new Akavir...
Yeah same, I would have been completely content with a tamriel only map. Yokuda, Pyandonea, and Atmora are nice additions. Anything beyond that is superfluous, but I say that with no interest of playing anything outside of tamriel.I'm still baffled that Akavir became a priority before the main setting of the game was fully fleshed out. I can understand why they would want to do the map before more bookmarks are done though, even if I have no interest in the secondary landmasses.

Edit: Akavir could be modeled as a sunset/mongol invasion type of mechanic, instead of an actual place.
That's because it's easier to just get the map done, now, instead of slowly piecemeal adding in new landmasses.
That bookmark would be incredibly underwhelming anyway considering they only took like three cities before being wiped out basically 'cause 'Akavir is mysterious hurr.'Underlined for emphasis, but that's pretty much the nail on the head. Akavir factors in for multiple future bookmarks. If we didn't use it, those bookmarks would be majorly underwhelming. Adding Akavir now means that the stage is set for future bookmarks having superior content (i.e. the Tamrielic Invasion of Akavir). But it also means that we don't have to undergo the extremely painful process that would be adding Akavir even further down the line.
And right now, the majority of Akavir is filled out. I'm waiting on a couple of things before I can do the dev diaries for the work that I've completed, but stay tuned on that.

Confirmed starting a CK2 game causes a dragon break. The Empire lost, but that doesn't mean that you (playing as the Empire) must lose. The individual bookmarks follow ES history but everything that happens after you press the start button is anyone's guess. For example, it's canon that Durcorach the Black Drake got killed by the Breton coalition and lost most of his army in the process, but that isn't necessarily the case in any given playthrough on the Reachmen bookmark.
Who knows. What's the hold up anyway?
Is it Akavir? Maybe you could ask the community for help?
I think most of what needs to be done is related to history, although most of the history is complete. But if you'd like to join up and contribute, you're certainly welcome to do so.Well what exactly is needed to be done?
I have some experience in messing with Ck2's files so I may try to join.
