side note.. has anyone else noticed missing holy sites in the current version? i backdated to 2.1.6 but everytime i go to look at the religion tab as a deadric or Akaviri religion i see nothing and the game crashes.. it's weird. I don't remember it doing that in 2.1.4 or 2.1.5 and everyone says 2.1.6 works the same..
Question: Have the Chimer been given the Dunmer graphics for buildings in 1.6? Cause in 1.5 they have the regular building graphics, main reason I ask is because the Dunmer graphics look awesome and fit the Chimer way more than Western European building architectural styles.

Anything is better than Western Graphics (Except maybe Slavic Graphic...), but at least in 1.5 it seems only Quey culture uses Indian Graphics. The other Sun folk use Western Graphics too for some reason (I mean at least give them Muslim Graphic considering Sun folks have Arabic portraits).
I think they should use Dunmer graphics. That way it wont clash if you try to reclaim Morrowind as the Chimer.
Plus the Dunmeri architecture was based on the High Chimeri culture. (And theres no lore on whether the Quey Chimer are Tribal Chimer or High Chimer)
So it'd be best to go a middleground and give them Dunmer GFX with poorly upgraded holdings.
So has anything been done about the Volkihar Vampires? I've played 3 games so far in 1.5 and each time within less than a decade a peasant revolt usurps Harkon and his family ends up dead soon after. How the hell do peasants revolt on an island with no peasants that aren't vampire food? What's weirder is that since the rebel peasants are Molag Bal followers you can't even RP it as the vamps slaves liberating themselves from oppression since I'm damn certain they wouldn't worship the same being that created the Vampires in the first place.
And do you think this mod would update before or it will be delayed third again due to incoming (btw. they did announce it, just it have no name or release date yet) expansion?
Groogy has said that vanilla saves should be compatible with the new patch, so maybe it won't be that bad? I mean, it certainly rules out a map extension.

That depends on how the changes to the way governments function will affect the mod. So vanilla saves being compatible isn't a good indicator, but we'll see how it works when they tell us more.

They could've made it compatible with the current stuff but it's almost 3 days till the 1 year anniversary and their hasn't even been a small update. Most other major conversion mods managed fine but if a year passes without an update and then they don't release before the next expansion what faith will be left in this mod.

Well I guess all the hard work of the people who have remained is ruined because of an arbitrary time limit. Seriously though, we're still working on it, and if we haven't given up on 1.6, than neither should you.
