no, actually it doesn't

even if you wanted to be wrong, you could have at least said 'egalitarian', 'equalist' just sounds awful

I'm not going to turn this thread into a "You're wrong, I'm right" flamewar, so we'll just agree to disagree.

1.5 has already been updated to be compatable with 2.1.1, but it is far too unstable which means even if we got everything done tommorow we will likely wait until the beta patch releases. On top of that we still have to finish up a number of features, including the new building system, magic system, as well as some stuff associated with religions..

Could you provide some detail on that "new building system" I've just checked the changelog and it seems not to be mentioned.

Well, the building list in 1.4b has been found insufficient, it had a number of issues especially regarding the fact that a vast majority of the buildings were locked behind advanced tech levels. On top of that the original building system was built for pre-Old Gods balance and it did not survive the port to Old Gods very well.

The entire building system has been revamped - New "building trees" with less generic improvements to your kingdom. And we've giving it a more lore friendly touch to match the setting where appropriate.

For now, it is a specific, necromancer-only spell with high skill requirements, extremely high mana cost, and a 50% chance of death, but if successful turns you into an immortal lich.

I'm going to update a changelog here for 0.1.5 as it's going to be a pretty large patch in comparison to the previous release. There's no solid ETA at the moment.

- [Added] Many new flavour events concerning being very wealthy, having negative piety, being at sea with a certain flu in your capital and many more.
- [Added] New Colonise job action for the Chancellor and nerfed the cultural conversion event (players will not get cultural conversion events anymore, they must use the councillor).
- [Added] "Patron" God System for 8/9 Divines, with a new Pilgrimage specific to them.
- [Added] Khajiit have whiskers.
- [Added] New on_birth event to handle birthsigns and racial traits (children born to parents should now get those traits at birth).
- [Added] Ayleid Racial trait; randomly generated Bosmer with the Ayleid culture will now gain a new Ayleid racial trait. Any "bosmergfx" child born to an Ayleid trait mother will gain her Ayleid trait.
- [Added] Chimer, with Racial trait (shares portraits with Altmer). Based on the writings of MK, the Chimer still exist in small numbers around Cathnoquey, so Chimer get a couple of Counties around that way.
- [Added] "Imperial City Guard" decision for the holder of the Imperial Isle which becomes available when fighting defensive wars which spawns a small event army at a cost to garrison size.
- [Added] New on_birth events to handle Mer fertility. The more pregnancies a Mer goes through, successful or otherwise, has a chance of reducing fertility.
- [Added] New Ambitions "Go on a Pilgrimage", "Obtain the Amulet of Kings" and "Obtain an Artefact".
- [Added] New Plots "Kidnap", "Steal Artefact".
- [Added] New Prisoner decisions concerning Torture with a variety of situational purposes (for example, Torture: Relinquish Claim, force a prisoner to relinquish a claim, they can choose to relinquish it off the bat but usually will refuse requiring a little persuasion. Torture: Convert Religion will force convert a prisoner to your religion, however it generally leads to psychological as well as physical damage).
- [Added] New religious icon to the topbar (replaced the cross with the "favour" icon).
- [Added] Spell System Rewrite; the Spellbook now has over 100 Spells (likely to be trimmed in the future); including Necromancer specific spells (Lichdom, anyone?)
- [Added] Ability to marry your character's same-sex partner (only possible for players; also prevents you having any children outside of adoption).
- [Added] Several dozen new flags, one day we'll have replaced all of the "?" flags
- [Added] Lycanthropy system.

- [Fix] Warlord Suppression CB has been fixed. Being a Warlord is now much more dangerous.
- [Fix] Get Married ambition has been changed for "race" appropriateness; Mer can still choose the ambition until they are around 165.
- [Fix] Have Daughter/Son ambitions have been changed for "race" appropriateness; Mer will no longer get an aborted ambition after age 45.
- [Fix] Manes now have their appropriate outfit.
- [Fix] Leyawiin's flag restored to it's correct, lore appropriate flag.
- [Fix] Several issues with succession laws and their allow triggers.
- [Fix] Dragonborn Descendent decision should now list the correct characters.
- [Fix] Incorrect targeting of Slave Raid modifiers against your own capital if you weren't personally leading the raids.
- [Fix] Minor issue with artefact removal corrected.
- [Fix] Temple settlement pictures fixed (certain races have replacements now).
- [Fix] Loop error with racial trait events & potuns.
- [Fix] Mane trait now caches, fixing a bug related to the Mane's unique succession.
- [Fix] Several Adjacency issues.
- [Fix] Several trigger and other issues in certain old VIET/cybrxkhan events included in EK.
- [Fix] Arcane University is now a "Temple" holding.
- [Fix] Fixed an issue with conversion decisions, they'll now be unavailable for use if you're using a "special" title (these are immune to conversion anyway).
- [Fix] Friend Ambition loop issue; no more AI with 99+ Diplomacy.
- [Fix] Minor river issue between Tenmar Wall and Stormhold.
- [Fix] Pilgrim traits should no longer disappear from nords.
- [Fix] Mane title is now destroyed if a non-mane acquires it.
- [Fix] Adjacencies not displaying the dotted lines.
- [Fix] Missing adjacencies across several rivers.
- [Fix] Province events (Goblin infestations and so on) completely rewritten; they now function properly once again.

- [Tweak] Removed opinion penalty from homosexuality. Unlike (sadly) our own world, Nirn doesn't really care about your sexuality.
- [Tweak] Legendary Towers (White-Gold Tower, Adamantine Tower etc) now provide Retinue.
- [Tweak] Same cultured provinces (Imperial Liege, Imperial Province) are now easier to convert to your religion.
- [Tweak] Holdings now cost 1,000 Gold.
- [Tweak] Eight & Nine Divines less susceptible to heresies.
- [Tweak] Khajiit COAs now use standard shield instead of hexagon.
- [Tweak] Increased Cost of Holdings.
- [Tweak] Crimson Plague now slightly more dangerous.
- [Tweak] NPCs should suicide a little less.
- [Tweak] Command modifiers on personality traits removed.
- [Tweak] Minor Job title bonus effects have been nerfed slightly.
- [Tweak] Mane religious title upgraded to a Duchy (too many issues with titular counties).
- [Tweak] Riddle'thar followers opinion of the Mane has been increased.
- [Tweak] "Universal" tech screen fix; no longer do smaller resolutions need seperate files.
- [Tweak] Halved the monthly income of Orgnum's Coffer.
- [Tweak] Vassals have a chance of gaining a negative or positive opinion modifier when their ruler achieves the Amass Wealth ambitions.
- [Tweak] Certain ambitions have had AI weights tweaked to make certain ambitions more or less popular to certain personalities and traits.
- [Tweak] Proud, Ambitious and other type vassals may gain a negative opinion modifier or none at all when a ruler achieves the Become Exalted ambition.
- [Tweak] Consorts can now take the "Get Married" ambition.
- [Tweak] Certain flavour events now have checks to prevent them occuring more than once during a characters lifetime.
- [Tweak] Waived wealth requirement on forming High Kingdoms and Empires for the AI (should make it a -little- easier for them).
- [Tweak] Reduced memory footprint of several image and texture files.
- [Tweak] Reordered several sprite reference files for readability.
- [Tweak] Reduced the employment timer to 7 days. Employment timers are a necessity due to a quirk in base CK2 where you will recieve clones of the first generated character (trait wise) if you spam the decision without unpausing.
- [Tweak] Rewrote several events for "Heal" job action to be more efficient and reliable.
- [Tweak] Colovians now use saxongfx as a portrait set; they still gain the "Imperial" racial trait.
- [Tweak] Magicka cap is now determined by learning rather than education.
- [Tweak] Magicka regenerates over time rather than with potions now.
- [Tweak] Lossless compression on many image files reducing overall mod size by a few MB.
- [Tweak] Intrigue screen now displays 6 Decisions instead of 4.
- [Tweak] Warlord Suppression and High Kingdom CBs now only grant weak claims.
- [Tweak] Bhoriane & Urvaius split from Balfiera to form their own Duchy; Balfiera is now a 1-prov Duchy like the Imperial Isle and Vivec, with 6 holding slots.
- [Tweak] Several borders slightly redrawn to smooth out some duchies.
- [Tweak] Heldorn (Kingdom) was renamed to Skaven, with several provinces moved to accommodate.

- [Removed] Slander Job action.
- [Removed] Old Age, War and Defensive War triggered modifiers (AI didn't handle em too well).
- [Removed] Pirate Raid CB.
- [Removed] Several redundant trait sprite references (to reduce error log, nothing critical).
- [Removed] Imperial melting pot events.
- [Removed] Court Mage, the AI makes no use of new councillors and the Court Mage was largely unused by players. The job role will be merged into "Court Priest" which will now represent a Court Mage/or a Court Priest depending on their Education (a different job becomes available dependent on Education).
- [Cont. from above] Certain job actions have also been reverted back to their vanilla Councillor and settings due to retarded AI.
- [Removed] Old vampire traits that are no longer in use.
- [Removed] Mer event-based pregnancy system. Mer Pregnancy has been reset to standard pregnancy, although each birth can result in lower fertility.
- [Removed] Gain Honourary Title Ambition; it was AI only and the checks through liege to courtiers and vassals are broken apparently ~ too much time and effort to fix something a player is only spammed with.
- [Removed] Several unused traits that no longer serve a purpose (for example, "Thrall").

Is there a possibility to have hermaphrodites, because according to the lore, one of the tribunal, Vivec is said to be a hermaphrodite.

http://elderlore.wordpress.com/extended-reading/36-lessons-of-vivec/

As for the Ayleids and Chimer, well to start off... the Chimer as basically culturally similar to the Dunmer, but look like Altmer. As a result, they should have the same skin appearance as the Altmer (which you already established), but the hair should be different. The hair (color and styles) between Dunmer and Altmer is entirely different. For one, more Dunmer are born with dark hair as compared to Altmer, in which that is considerably rare. More Altmer like Elenwyn and Ancano have light hair. Both have considerable number of redheads, which appears the only actual common hair color between them. Both the Altmer Sorceress from the trailer pictures and videos of the ESO and the housecarl of the Jarl of Whiterun are both redheads. But most Dunmer like Brelyna Maryon have dark hair.
'
So Chimer as a result, should have dark hair like the Dunmer and have hairstyles more consistent with the Dunmer population. The similarity they should share with the Altmer is merely skin color.

Ayleids are difficult, because they are basically the Bosmer-Chimer of Cyrodiil. Basically, they are the Cyrodmer or Cyrodche (in their own language). By that I mean, they worship Daedra like the Chimer, but their language is identical to the Bosmer. So... logically, maybe they should appear more of a hybrid to some extent between the two. Having hair styles like the Chimer and Dunmer would have (probably even intermarrying with them, since they both worship Daedra and thereby an alliance is easier than with Daedra hating Altmer and Bosmer), while being just slightly lighter in skin color as compared to the Bosmer. Bosmer have a deep light brown skin color. Ayleids should have an olive, Italian, Imperial sort of skin color, which is highly suggested throughout the lore and by experts from uesp.

no, actually it doesn't

even if you wanted to be wrong, you could have at least said 'egalitarian', 'equalist' just sounds awful

As the inventor of Gender Equalism, I find what you say offensive and for good cause.

Egalitarian means the French manner of Equalism, which is the ideological understanding of equality brought by those who suggest it. That is how the French styled left in Latin American forced classical liberalism onto the indigenous inhabitants. If you were a Native American, you have to subscribe to the liberal Mexican definition of liberalism, which like American liberalism of that day, meant no longer being a member of a tribe and forced to pay taxes, while only finding work at the lowest paying sector of an economy. Think of people of the fourth or fifth world being formally introduced to our society and what outcome that would mean for them. Indigenous people of Papua New Guinea who know nothing about the outside world, being introduced to it and now living in poverty, in which otherwise they would be in their own world unaware of what poverty meant.

That is Egalitarianism, because it is obviously the french way to do it. Hail Napoleon and all that Jazz. Disagree with the French Furor or you die. LMFAO!

Equalism is the conscious understanding of what is equality, but allowing mutual discussions by all people. We don't jam something down your throat and say it is equal. That is the flaw I just spoke about egalitarianism and why feminists when they have a good reason (such as abortion rights) will not subscribe to it and are even skeptical towards Equalism, because the hinted similarity suggests it might insure the same failings as egalitarianism. You know the Bolshevik outcome, do what we say or we kill you and erase you from history.

Equalism is about debate and the conscious understanding concerning different people. It forces us as individuals to let go of our prior views and the examine in the information as individuals with no moot self-derived interest before reaching a common understanding by the collective as a whole. It works on intellectual understandings that subscribe to greater open minded understanding, while limiting the indulgence of emotional and hyper emotional contamination. You know stuff like, "that man gotta die cause he killed my baby," not allowing said individual the opportunity to repent what they did. Control is not situated so strongly by the whims of the individual and our emotions, but by logic ascertained by mutual understanding by all people who take the individual effort to examine things critically without bias.

It is from Draneian philosophy, which is heavily constructed out of Buddhism, Taoism, Gnosticism, moderate Islam, Thomas Aquinas's Christianity, Classical Greek Philosophy to a degree, and hugely Native American ideologies such as Cherokee, Lakotah, Mayan, Incan, and Toltec.

The end result of Equalism is not a set in stone interpretation of equality, sometimes it never is equality, but to an extent equity. That is what Equalism is and how it differs from Egalitarianism.

Vivec is a god and can do whatever he likes. We aren't planning to have bi-coloured Altmer/Dunmer either.

Shoot! And here I was hoping for rainbow elves. Slice them thin enough and there's a colour tone for everyone to enjoy.
