The 1.3 patch is still in the beta phase. If you want to try it it´s in the tech support subforum here:

However please be aware that the 1.3 patch changes several variables names in FtG which means that a lot of old mods won´t work properly anymore.
If you want to try any of the mods in the mod subforum check what version of FtG they require (most require patch 1.2) and perhaps try them out first while using FtG 1.2 before updating to 1.3
