Right now Szlachta historical events correspondence to estate privilege and if you already have 4 of them they effect won't activate e.g. elective monarchy.
Was this somehow addressed? If so, and it is intended what was the explanation?

On initial 1.30.1, the UI showed 4 spot for privilege, but you could have 5. It's not clear if it was a bug that you could get a 5th or that it was a spot left open (but unseen) for such event. Needless to say, players found out and mods changed the UI to show the empty spot. Johan said that it was always intended to be 4 max and in a later patch block that 5th spot shinanigen. Stating in the process that if you fucked up an event it's your fault now.

tldr: as it is right now, is working as intended

Poland starts with it, but you still don't get the elective monarchy event if you have 4 privileges even though that event would add no privilege, because you already have it.

Did a quick Poland game over Christmas and they had 4 privleiges and still got the event

Are you sure that the nobles had 4 privileges and that you got the event Elective Monarchy in Poland which gives you the elective monarchy? I tested this again right now and only got the event Successor of Wladyslaw III which gave me the union over Lithuania and a Jagiellon ruler. The tooltip said that I would get the event Elective Monarchy in Poland, but that didn't happen and I kept the "Feudal nobility" reform
