What is a Gungeon ?
Enter the Gungeon is a video game developed by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital. It is a roguelike, bullet hell action game which I can not recommend enough if you're a fan of the genre.

The main plot in Enter the Gungeon is the existence of the Gungeon located on one planet in the galaxy. It is located at the place where the Great Bullet struck, and was built in order to protect the galaxy's greatest treasure - the Gun that can kills the past. This gun, as its name implies, can change the past (thanks Cpt. Obvious !), and as such led to the construction of the Gungeon in order to protect it from evil creatures wishing to use its power in order to further their dark plans.
But the power of the Great Bullet had strange effects and led to the apparition of strange creatures called Gundeads, who live in the Gungeon and protect its treasures from the greed of outside adventurers (called "Gungeoneers" - those who want to pillage the Gungeon).
Outside adventurers... Such as the game's 4 characters, who seek to enter the Gungeon and conquer it to use the Gun that can kill the past for themselves. In the game, you choose one character per descent in the Gungeon, and the Gungeon is divided into rooms which close upon entering and can only be exited once all enemies are dead.

Deep inside the Gungeon, in one of its rooms.... Gundeads come and go, wandering through the Gungeon's halls and corridors. Suddenly, the room's many doors close.
Surprised, you quickly gaze across the room, confused... But only for a short while. You know what this means - as a mean of defense against outsiders, a room immediately closes when one or several Gungeoneers enter it. All of you take a look around the room. You count 17 Gundeads, and no Gungeoneers.... You can however remember the reports of the floors above yours, reports mentioning a team of 4 Gungeoneers who have entered the Gungeon and rely on disguises and cunning rather than brute force to progress inside this deadly maze.
You realize that they are here, and will have to find them before they manage to backstab all of you. But first, you see that it will soon be the night according to the Gungeon's artificially generated day/night cycle... Some sleep can only help you solve this puzzle.
Unbeknowst to you, one agent of the Beholster, the all-seeing eye watching over the Gungeon, is among you. Alerted by his master of the Gungeoneers' arrival, he disguised himself into a regular Gundead. He can use his abilities to discover a person's true nature - but being a mere servant, cut off from his master because of the room locking up, his abilities are rather limited.

Rules

There shall be seventeen (17) players. Special Roles will be handed out after the last person signs up. The game will then proceed to a Night deadline.

The game is divided into two periods - night and day. For practical reasons these two periods take place at the same time, from one update till the next.
Each day, all players gather and decide to lynch one of the players - the person they think is most likely to be a hidden Gungeoneer. Each night, the Gungeoneers will strike back and murder the far righter of their choice, and the servant of the Beholster will be able to examine one of the players to determine their true nature. In each 24 hour period, the players will lynch, the anti-fascists will hunt and the veteran will scan. The players can try to lynch multiple people by creating a glorious, Lemeard-approved, TIE, and the Gungeoneers can also decide not to murder anyone at all at nigh.

Winning

The Gungeoneers win if they reach parity with the Gundeads
The Gundeads win if they manage to lynch all of the Gungeoneers.

Possible Roles!

12 Gundeads (villagers):

These simple Gundeads will stop at nothing to protect their dear Gungeon's treasure, and consider the treasures to hold even more value than their lives. However they have no real abilities beside their limited brain and their capacity to kill one or several persons they have agreed upon every day.

4 Gungeoneers (werewolves):

These adventurers desire to seize the Gungeon's treasures for themselves and will kill every Gundead standing in their way to reach their goal. In the short term, this means killing every Gundead present in the room - something which will allow them to continue further into the Gungeon. In order to preserve their disguise, they will only kill one person every night, while everyone's sleeping - counting on the Gundeads to also murder each other.

1 Servant of the Beholster (seer):
This servant of the Beholster fights alongside the Gundeads to protect the Gungeon against evildoers. The all-seeing Beholster knows everything going on in the Gungeon - but with the room locking up the servant has been cut off from his master, limiting his abilities. Still, he is able to check a Gundead's true nature, but since it is time-consuming and not very discreet he will only do so at night to conceal his identity from the evil Gungeoneers.

Any other type of voting will not be counted and will make you eligible for subbing. In case of re-voting without un-voting the original vote will be the counted vote. DO NOT EDIT VOTES AFTER POSTING THEM.

§9. - The GM can and will remove players if the GM believes the player is not participating at his/her full capacity. This will be done through the use of killing the player's role, or using substitutes, if they are available. All such decisions are made solely at the discretion of the GM. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE GAME IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T PARTICIPATE.

Gallery of Gundeads:
If you so wish, you can publicly claim to be one of the following Gundeads (several players can decide to be the same kind of Gundeads). The text describing each of the Gundeads comes from the Ammonomicon, a book describing every weapon, boss and enemy in the game and the main source of lore in the game.

Bullet Kin:

Ammonomicon_Bullet_Kin.png

Bullet Kin are the most common Gundead.
These sentient shells were brought to life hundreds of years ago, when the great Bullet struck and formed the Gungeon.
They are simple creatures, but vigilant and loyal.

Veteran Bullet Kin:

Ammonomicon_Veteran_Bullet_Kin.png

More experienced than their standard Bullet Kin brethren, Veterans have a better understanding of gunplay.
These crafty gunslingers will predict the movements of their targets, aiming where they are going to be, rather than where they are.

Bandana Bullet Kin:

Ammonomicon_Bandana_Bullet_Kin.png

Aggressive Bullet Kin that fearlessly charge their targets, spraying bullets from their machine pistols with reckless abandon.
Some theorize that the bandanas represent the rudiments of Gundead culture. That said, there is little evidence beyond the occasional pair of sunglasses.

Tanker:

Ammonomicon_Tanker.png

Tanker Bullet Kin are highly-disciplined hard-casings.
Aggressive and durable soldiers assigned to armored columns.

Minelet:

Ammonomicon_Minelet.png

Minelets take cover under their hard hat to prepare for a quick burst of gunfire.
The only form of Gundead that can grow hardy beards, which are the envy of their cousins.

Keybullet Kin:

Ammonomicon_Keybullet_Kin.png

The Keybullet Kin are impish bullets who have abandoned malevolence for playful whimsy. They taunt Gungeoneers with their shiney case and key shaped slugs, daring them to chase them during a firefight. Will revert to Key form if defeated, while still maintaining an air of whimsy.

Red Shotgun Kin:

Ammonomicon_Red_Shotgun_Kin.png

Shells of the Red Kin are the beefiest and most durable of the Shotgundead.
In Bullet society, Shotgun Kin often serve as enforcers to their smaller brethren.

Blue Shotgun Kin:

Ammonomicon_Blue_Shotgun_Kin.png

Shells of the Blue Kin fire more rapidly than their Red brethren, though they are similar in most other respects.
Shotgun Kin are known to burst upon death as a final act of revenge against their assailants.

Veteran Shotgun Kin:

Ammonomicon_Veteran_Shotgun_Kin.png

These mighty soldiers combine a sharpshooter's prediction with the area denial of a shotgun. Can be confused by erratic movements.

Sniper Shell:

Ammonomicon_Sniper_Shell.png

The sharp-eyed Sniper Shells are easy to deal with on their own, but can pose quite a threat when providing backup to other Gundead.
Adventurers who have encountered them are divided as to whether Gundead grow to resemble their weapons of choice, or if they are born with an affinity for a certain type of gun.

However, Gundeads are never named publicly, except for a twin Boss which consists in two Gundeads name Shades and Smiley. So you can take inspiration from these names if you want to name your Gundead.

Also, there are other Gundead types, you may claim a type of Gundead not mentioned here if you so desire.

Spam is on its way to fill the inbox of every potential player I can find (an effective tactic, it already brought in one player !).

However since I opened the sign ups very shortly after the previous Lite ended I'm also willing to let the sign ups run their course for a time - people might want to take a short break before jumping straight into another Lite. We'll see what happens

Wow, nice to see Xarkan, and I may as well get back to this also. Gonna be on my phone a lot more though. Not surprised to see Wagon and Aedan still playing, presumably in every game.
