But hey, a EURO style random vote change has worked before.

Euro just copied that from AOK.11 allegedly though.

And AOK said he started doing it because he wanted to preserve information. A long day of voting and switches give you a lot of information, killing someone completely random that you have absolutely *no* information on maximises your opportunities to analyse the vote cycle later.
Again, doing it too often kinda nullifies the point as being predictable with it make it easy to manipulate. But when done sparingly and correctly it can be very effective.

I think it was something like a switch every 5 seconds or something like that.
I remember I just copy pasted the switches.

it was somethign like 12 pages we posted of snipes and countersnipes over the course of an hour.

Appears to be 11.

Right .. or god forbid, an atheist? ;-)

Damn. That sounds insane.

It started on this page:

HERE

And ended here:

HERE

~40 minutes of concentrated sniping.

He did? I don't remember that but that might well have been how it happened. Sounds like something AOK could have come up with.

Agreed.

Here's the start. It's page 46 and I called for a threeway. I was the public mouthpiece since day 1. I ended up surviving and winning, btw, despite having outed a wolf on day 1. I was the most trusted man of Cliges the seer.

The count and update is on page 65, i.e. 19 pages after I called for the threeway. That call for threeway was 7 minutes before the earliest deadline and 1 hour and 7 minutes before the last one. Torn was doing a thing where deadline was variable and happened when he himself felt it should happen, at any time between 18 and 19 GMT. Meaning that constant sniping was needed if you wanted to snipe. Which was what happened...
That's three baddies in a threeway. Not something you see every day. Sadly we lost the seer.
Today we are lynching alxeu, dex, and JCan.

Day 6/Night 6 Update

You have all decided that you just, inexplicably, hate Dexander. You want him dead, for the third time. You also just in general don't really like alxeu either, killing him again. But you really, really hate Dexander.

Dexander v3, wolf of the Beta pack with the leader trait, is lynched.
alxeu v2, the Unknown (?) is lynched
JCan, formerly cursed wolf of the Gamma pack, with the roleblocker trait, is lynched
Eike Peace, villager with a sorcerish scan, is autolynched because he pissed the GM off by not voting, repeatedly and consistently
Cliges, seer, is hunted

And here's some fun quotes from that day.
Update is going to be late, sorry.

A votecount would be amazing though, just so I can double check.

Lol I don't think you'll find anyone willing to make you a votecount.

What are the odds Torn just doesn't retire from Werewolf and end this game?

I'm sorry, just be patient, update will be delayed for a few hours, soz

We should be the ones apologizing.

Let me just quickly make a votecount, brb.

May God be with you.

And Tornadoli was never seen again.

First I freak out after seeing nearly twenty pages pop up after being gone all day. Then I find out it was almost entirely from a stupid vote switching mess from the variable deadline and OOC nonsense. What a waste of time and space.

I thought the game had ended when I saw 30 new pages.

OBJECTIONS?

Day 2 & Night 2
Day 2

As you continue your journey, you keep wondering who could have possibly killed the monk in such a horrible way. Accusations fly wildly, until you notice Castor, who is oddly silent (not that he is the only one). You decide that someone so quiet can't be up to anything good. As paranoia is running high, you promptly grab a rope and hang him from the nearest tree. Turns out he was loyal Knight of St. Michael, albeit one who had made a vow of silence. Not the best outcome.

Night 2

Night isn't much better, as it seems the pagans are out to get the men of faith who travel with your group, as this time, on the morning, you find Wagonlitz, the Friar, with his chest cut wide open and his heart missing. Seems someone's is invoking the gods' favor to end with you. Hurry! Else none of you will even make it to Puebla.

Castor94 the Villager is lynched.
Wagonlitz the Priest is hunted.

Hmm. Voted the priest on the day he died looks bad for Dedonus - but it would be a VERY lucky wolf that already was in touch with the priest this early - I'd think that'd take a sorc.

So it was probably random...?

Randakar voted like a maniac, though, and is still an unrepentant heretic.

Vote randakar

I'm suspicious of Chieron saying that protestants could be the name of the second pack. He tried to later explain it as meaning secondary, but his initial post makes it rather clear he's assuming there's a second pack, and it takes little imagination to assume he's indicating he already knows the name from one pack. As we have not yet seen any dead baddies or name of a pack, this is quite suspicious. It is far from certain there's even two packs at all. I definitely think this is worth pursuing.
