I love the total hypocrisy of the german press, with, the "non-democratic syndicalism", who are opposed to the democratic germany in wich, obviously, the Chancellor is chosen by the people...:p
The bias is even that obvious that I wouldn't be surprised if it was run by a closet-syndicalist, or if it was made up by the communards to 'prove' to their own people that the capitalist countries only float on empty propaganda.

Ho Chi Min was formed by the PCF, and lived more than 10 years in France in our Timeline.
Of course, but now he has the support of the whole Commune. ;)

So if the Romanovs survived why did little Alex not take the throne? (Sorry if I am asking dumb questions.)

Ho Chi Minh leaves for India

Nothing to see here folks. Just the frog-eating bastards French ruining everything, as usual.
Seriously, if you've played the latest two versions, you'll notice just what an unholy beast red India is. I saw it gobble up Delhi and the Princely Federation like it was a midnight snack while fighting off the Entente!

Odd, for me the Bharitaya get curbstomped by Delhi almost every time.

The fact that it was the Netaji's Totalist India probably had something to do with it, now that I think about it.

Ho Chi Minh in Paris with support of the Commune is one of the interesting things of the Kaiserreich scenario, with some event playing out in a way that is almost ironic in comparison to OTL.

I assume that you, will also like the idea of Mirsa Sultan-Galiev's Socialist Muslim Committee then. But the chance of that happening is still a long way off.

Any flavor of socialism > any flavor of capitalism ;)

Is all quiet on the Chinese front? Its going to be interesting to see the German reaction if/when Pu Xi starts making moves on the AOG.

He is a good, little puppet emperor so far. But there are others who think about similar lines.

The bias is even that obvious that I wouldn't be surprised if it was run by a closet-syndicalist, or if it was made up by the communards to 'prove' to their own people that the capitalist countries only float on empty propaganda.

The paper might have a very slight bias and occasionally strays in wishful thinking, but it won't make up facts.

I might occasionally introduce a different viewpoint later on though.

So if the Romanovs survived why did little Alex not take the throne? (Sorry if I am asking dumb questions.)

After the war and the White Intervention Kerensky became President but left the Romanovs alive, just not on the throne. Kyril is the Romanov pretender at the start of the game so Alexei is dead by that time. A quick check of the Kaiserreich wiki doesn't show why/how he died though.

Speaking of Delhi, were the Princes given the boot? In my current Austria game, their autonomy was strengthened but they lost their armies.

In this game the Princes were paid off.

There is an event later that should give back their Armies. Their immediate usefulness varies with the preceding event choice.

The fact that it was the Netaji's Totalist India probably had something to do with it, now that I think about it.

For me its Delhi > Reds > Princely Federation in terms of wins. It depends on when the war starts though. If the Entente is already busy in Europe, Delhi is far less formidable.

Ah Ludendorff another great general with an awesome moustache!

"[American refugees] are not used to a more orderly democracy."
Muh civic pride!
;)

On the flip side, that means Jack and his particular brand of madness is crumbling. I hope Ireland doesn't end up being a consolation prize for them.

Regarding the mustaches, that's one art we truly seem to have lost. :(

Perhaps I should add that Ludendorff did not receive a knighthood in OTL, only in the Kaiserreich universe.

Well, more cannonfod... I mean volunteers are on their way to save the CSA. Though I probably do not want to know how the developers think they'll reach a state hemmed in by 3 hostile powers with its single port blockaded by the US navy.

Ireland should've sent the dirty syndies to the UOB! I'm sure Big Brother Mosley could've used a few more Maximist supporters.

So far the smuggling between the UoB and Ireland seems to be mainly going in the other direction. Though Collins is starting to push back.

The minorities are awaiting their reunification with their brethren in the Commune!

I am not so sure that all of them would be happy, not to mention the German-speakers in Alsace - Lorraine. Repression can and does occur on both sides of the border. Even so, there are far worse places to live in than either the Reich or the Commune.

Eric Blair = George Orwell for those who are wondering.

OT: I did see a man in the car next to me with an awesome Poirot moustache so good on him.

Its kind of weird how they make Blair a great orator in the mod because historically he was always kind of socially awkward and never really fit in with the working class. But hey, I guess a socialist revolution can really reinvigorate a man! :p
Lawrence is also in Britain. I'm guessing he slept through the revolution, waking up one day perplexed why everyone was now saying "God save the Republic". Or he was stuck in a coma and had to experience a 28 Days Later intro.

Your actual lore isn't too far off. Lore has it that Lawrence won his side of the war but lost out in the final peace deal. Disenfranchised with the home government, he returned home, supported the socialist revolution from the sidelines, and retired into private life, respected but mostly ignored by the public.

The Russian Empire is getting very mighty, and might threaten the balance across the world even further. Not surprising that the syndicalist forces are solidary with their fellow ideological allies in the CSA!

I guess it was too much fun not to have George Orwell himself as one of the leaders of a dictatorship.

Here are a couple of photos of the beard world championship 2015. That would be far, far too much effort for me though.

At least until he grows bored and comes out of the woodwork to establish the RED. Laying waste to half of Germany is a pretty ambitious retirement project I suppose.

Expanding into Central Asia is the safest direction for the Russian though. Anything to the west might get protected by the Reich while going east will lead to a confrontation with Japan sooner or later. I am pretty sure though that certain leaders (*cough* Khrushchev *cough*) will have a sleepless night or two.

Long dynamic Civil Wars are always fun. Once playing as Mittelafrika, I observed the Federal Government overwhelming the Deep South and taking Detroit, only to lose it all as Reed swarmed over the mid-west and the Kingfish charged out of Charlotte and reclaimed all the original territories of the AUS. Now, the two dictators signed a temporary peace, but it was really quite amazing to watch the two nations pull themselves back from the brink. It ultimately ended in 1939 with the CSA taking D.C. before shortly ending the AUS once and for all.

Anyway, it looks like MacArthur got sucker punched by the Kingfish.
