Could you by any possible chance make a few models for Croatia?

 

Hmmm.... what kind of equipment branimir?

Also, I can't seem to access the model exporter?

 

You may know this: did Croatia have any unique weapons? I think all of their weapons were of others manufacture. So for a tank or aircraft all you need is different coloring on an already in use model. Croatian symbols & coloring. If playing with models I am hopeful that small nations units will get their own correct colors & weapon types and not just generic non-major model.

The pictures in the tech tree would need to be changed to Croatian colors if they were going to produce weapon copied from other nations.

Okay, so, this is why asked with the word "any". The thing is it, at least from what I know, Croatia used imported weapons and vehicles from the axis. What I requested really, considering it was a minor nation and certainly wouldn't be covered by paradox, is that you just put Croatian historical insignias on vehicles Croats used, and perhaps some other details.You can try putting the Ustashe militia, they were specific to Croatia, something like the SS was to Germany.

(There is a link on the first paragraph that lead you to the Airforce, Home Defense and Militia, you can use symbols from there).

To explain a little bit more: Croatia hardly had an industry, which means we hadn't had a chance to make our own equipment. So, the equipment we used was given to us that Germany and Italy thought were obsolete and leftovers from Yugoslavia. We had some french heavy tanks, Pz III, Pz IV, some stolen Soviet tanks in the Eastern front, what what stole from Partisans and Chetniks which were given to them by the US and Britain. I mean we even had three Tigers at one point, which is amazing. Most resources we had was used on fast training so we took anything that was given to us, so in the end we had a battalions of obsolete tanks, and ww1 rifles.

 

Fantastic job Vonboe. I always use sprites, so these would be a great addition.

 

What the quality of work? It is excellent! I know the types of tanks you have model and with a quick look the seem right! Maybe, just maybe, if I would looked at detail photos I might find something minor wrong, but would anyone need to do this? They are just very good and that is more than enough!

That's some impressive work mate, exciting to ALREADY see people not only planning but doing mods damn! Wonder how long it will take for people to start modding this for an earlier timeframe, might start myself, really enjoyed the theme and setting in eu4. Ehm back on topic, what other nations are you having in your mod ? Is it historical, or will you include tanks that didn't exist but probably how it would be if X nation decided to do tanks ?

Yeah I try not to spend too much time on details, 'cause most of it can be added in the textering ( coloring ) fase things like tiny holes and crevices, also I think some of the smaller detalis will be lost in-game due to how small the models are in the game.

They have never been against modded 3d models, it's just no one had taken the time to make a tool which allow you to mod 3ds models in the clausewitz engine until now ( Thanks Joror!! )

For now I'll stick to the four mentioned nations, Hungary,Poland,Czechoslovakia and Romania because I believe I can manage to finish those until the release of HoI4.
If I end up finishing them before the release ( or HoI4 gets delayed again... ) I guess I'll have to find some other nations to make custom 3d models for

 

Paradox should have a talk with you!
This should be included in the vanilla version, me thinks!

And by the way, I prefer the camouflage versions.
