Are you playing with DH 1.04 ?

 

YOu probably unchecked the "Unit Sprites" at the launcher but did not activate the counters in the game settings (when chosing a nation to play)

 

EDIT: I've found a reasonable solution. so go your way.

 

"Solicit" means ask, beg, etc for donations. The KR team are not asking anyone to donate. If people want to donate, they can do, but the KR team are not soliciting donations.

A Few Words on Bugs

Kaiserreich contains thousands of events made over the course of a decade. If you find a bug which has been reported but not fixed in the current version, it is not because the Kaiserreich team is out to get you, but more likely because we simply overlooked it. Please report it in as a detailed way as is possible and we'll do our best to fix it.

A Few Notes on India

South-east Asia - and especially India - has been completely redone in this version. Practically all the old events have been scrapped and more than 200 new events replaced them. As such, we feel it relevant to note a few things on the successor states to the British Raj.

First of all, this is not a final version of the Indian events. Delhi once had an event path of leaving the Entente and pursuing an independent right-wing political stance in Asia. This has, for example, been removed, but might be re-added in later versions. Likewise, the Bhartiya Commune has several events about expanding the revolution to Ceylon and Indochina, but currently hasn't got any event-driven chains for liberating e.g. China or Central Asia. It's our hope that such paths could be included in the future as well.

The new set-up of the three Indian states are as follows:
Delhi represents the democratic and pro-Entente fraction on the sub-continent. It is the most 'democratic' Indian nation vis-a-vis the fact that it has - among a great deal of other things - election events and the possibility of installing an Indian vice-roy. The Princely Federation is the reactionary/paternal autocratic fraction, dominated by the Princely States of the south united behind the executive leadership of the Nizam of Hyderabad. There are, however, events included allowing political liberalization - although these are limited and hopefully will be expanded in future versions. Lastly, the Bhartiya Commune is the leftist/Syndicalist fraction on the sub-continent. A conglomerate of various pre-WW1 revolutionary groupings united under the umbrella of the INC, the Bhartiya Commune represents the sword of Syndicalism on the sub-continent. However, the control of the Calcutta government is hotly contested between the various wings and cliques of the INC.

In short, the three major Indian successor states no longer appear as domestically united as in previous versions. Especially the Princely Federation will have to be careful in managing its reform process, lest it risks the danger of imploding in princely infighting.

A Few Notes on Russian and Japanese Foreign Policy Events

Russia and its development was the country around which much of the early versions of KR was constructed. Consequently, Russia is one of the all time heavyweighters when it comes to content and events. Especially, the events for Russian foreign policy and expansion are very complicated code-wise since it has to take care of several triggers and possibilities as well as the randomness of the way the game unfolds. We have tried to fix, e.g. the Middle-eastern path for Russia, but if the code breaks in one of your games, please report it in the Kaiserreich thread on paradox or on the Kaiserreich forum - then we'll get right to it.

The Japanese foreign policy events are very unstable and unfortunately the code breaks quite easily. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to redo it to our satisfaction just yet, but it will be one of the top priorities when it comes to new content in the next release(s).
